We are after reporting capabilities to capture granular detail on activity within Teams.
We would like to have data capturing:
1. Number of users enabled
2. Number of daily active unique users
3. Breakdown of devices uniquely used
4. Number of teams created
5. Number of teams deleted
6. How many instant messages sent overall in the Chat
7. How many calls made in Teams
8. Number of files shared in channels
9. How many combined ‘likes’ have been made over a period of time
Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!
For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
I've been scouring looking for an answer to "Can I see how many Microsoft Teams we have in our tenant" so stumbling on this is great to see you currently can't and it's coming.
Just would like to see reports on usage.

"We're working on a team and tenant dashboard - nothing specific to disclose now. You can get some reporting via the compliance capabilities in the time being. "
So we need just keep nagging him :)
We're trying to encourage uptake and participation and link activity to a KPI in our mentorship programmes. The ability to report on activity by user\team\like\comment\etc would be quite valuable to us.

We are currently using Slack in an educational environment to supplement our legacy LMS for discussion boards. We have found that students are much more engaged this way. We are looking to replace Slack with Teams because of the integration with Office365 and all the services we provide there.
Currently a professor can search for a student and determine how "engaged" they are in the discussion. A search returns the students posts and # of replies the post received, etc...

Yep, need this one. We've been promoting Teams but have no current way to track usage and success.

Yes, how can we find how many Teams are out there. We can see lots of new groups but how can we identify which ones are Teams.

A Dashboard that user can pin all the pages required to manage it's own work, This way User doesn't leave teams to check emails or tasks.....
e.g. Tasks, Notifications

We enabled Teams for few of our project groups. We would like to know how many of our team members have logged into the tool and/or have accessed it. is there a report that Administrator can run to find usage metrics?
Please provide Analytics for Teams. We would like to know use statistics as this availability in Slack was very useful.

User reporting for help desk scenario. Would be nice to track who's answering most questions posted for performance metrics.
Have a customizable dashboard option where you could put at a glance updates on groups our channels showing recent updates. Maybe make the smaller widgets in dashboard detachable and allow drop on desktop with always on top option to set up in corner of screen while you work. And of course allow click in to drill in to team app location the widget is for.
Please add some kind of reporting for Teams as it would really help us gauge our company's uptake of teams.
Reporting should have some kind of breakdown by global region, number of chats/teams/other.

We are running a pilot using Teams and have been asked by a manager if they can see which members of the team have viewed a file that has been added. It is possible to see when a file was modified and who made the change but not who has viewed the file.
Just like in SharePoint you can see your Most Popular items/pages or how many views a document has received, this would be very helpful to have in Teams. Most popular Channel, document views, maybe from a Chat perspective, how many Chats a team member has posted.

I'd be interested to see how My Analytics might be leveraged by Microsoft Teams. Channels, Teams, Activity seem relevant particularly when Group functionality becomes available.
