Linking a Specific folder on O365 Sharepoint - not working
when adding a sharepoint as a tab it does let you add a sharepoint link which means you can specify a particular folder or file, rather than add the whole library.
when entering this link it does recognise it but click on it does not do nothing and you are forced to click NEXT, on the next page it only gives you the libraries that are available but ther is no way to assign a folder within that library.
is there another way or is this feature not avaible?

This needs to allow cross-tenant linking of Sharepoint document libraries - when we have guests from an external tenant, we need to be able to link the library on a tab in (possibly) an internal team
Currently adding a Sharepoint document library assumes it's in the current tenant instead of allowing a URL of any other valid Sharepoint document library

Agree that this is an absolute requirement and can't believe it isn't available. It specifically says "Use a SharePoint link", but then only allows a library, so it isn't really a link.

For managing projects and using teams as a central point of communication this is an absolute must! As a work around you can kind of achieve this by adding the folder link as a website tab however it does make you log in again!
NOT a great user experience!
Can't add a tab within a channel that links to SharePoint. Hit the plus sign to add a tab within Channel, choose SharePoint icon, and when I copy and paste a URL Link into the path under the 'Use a SharePoint Link' option, it can never find the path or link to anything in SP. Am I understanding this correctly?

By only allowing the Libraries I cannot, specify in some cases, a subset of a Library which I want to view/have viewed, and in other cases I want to specify the level above the Libraries not create a tab for every one.
Not having this makes using the external SharePoint tab useless at the moment.

absolute requirement... I'm unable to add a specific folder or file from Sharepoint into Teams using "Add Cloud Storage"option. It add the entire library instead of the specific folder or file. I couldn't find a way around it apart from ope ning the folder in Sharepoint and adding a link to the specific folder as a URL (not ideal though!).
Should be able to link to a specific folder to add a tab
