Tool tips for Close and Minimize remain on the screen
Minimize and Close button tips remain on the screen after clicking each respective button. The only way to get them to go away is to either bring Teams back into focus or kill and restart the application. It is super annoying.

Hi everyone, this bug is officially eliminated. Email me directly if it resurfaces: sparavi @ Microsoft (dot) com.
Thanks for reporting it and supporting Teams! We really appreciate your feedback.
Sincerely,
Suphatra

noticed today the fix was to remove the tooltip - works for me! bit of a hack though don't you think? Also, is this window management the cause of the 'Away' bug as well?

Ya! I keep forgetting that it's Teams and start trying to find the source of this. Thanks for the update @Suphatra.

Thanks for the update @Suphatra. Nice to see the minor "quality-of-life" issues get addressed as well!

Thanks so much @Suphatra for fitting this one in - just a little annoyance which was getting in the way of my many screen recordings, and I'm really glad to see the back of it. Looking forward to the next update!

I don't know about anyone else, but I've developed a "mouse pause" whenever I try to click on minimize/close icons in ANY app now. :(

This bug is very annoying! Why can't this be fixed much faster?

Seconding this bug. **** annoying and such a basic issue. Have to shut down the application to avoid the on screen mess, which defeats the purpose of a chat app.
Please fix asap.

This is ridiculous. This MINOR bug has been around for months. Issue a patch. This is so frustrating to deal with.

This is so annoying we are struggling to support teams when such small things take forever to get fixed.

This has been our experience since day 1 - and it's at least a month-old bug now.
This is hurting my user adoption of Teams - is it really that difficult a problem to fix?Appreciate the avenue for giving feedback. Thank you for being here Suphatra.

Suphatra - Note that this only happens when Teams is in Full Screen. If Teams is not maximised then the tool tips do not get stuck on the screen.

I'd like to see a fix to this. I was able to resolve using the solution Osiris provided on 7/19. Thanks Osiris!

There shouldn't have to be a workaround. This issue just showed up recently.

Any item that can display a tool tip, will remain after closing/minimizing if the cursor happens to hover over the item while teams is closing.

Another workaround. Hover over until the tooltip appears completely.

Same problem for the German version of Teams: 1.0.00.19451 (64-Bit) updated on 21.07.2017

I've found that if you just keep your mouse over the button for a few seconds longer than just immediately clicking the button, it does not leave the text on the screen. Haven't had an issue since I started doing this.

Workaround: If you right click on application title bar and select minimize, the word "minimize" is not shown

same issue for:
You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.0.00.17151 (64-bit). It was last updated on 7/6/17.

The tooltip always seems to persist near the top of the primary monitor, regardless of where the Teams window was when it was minimized/closed.
