How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Chat search feature

It would be nice to be able to search a chat for a keyword or phrase to make it quicker to look back for something

The search feature is lacking. I can search alright but there is no way for me to get the context of the chat.

My current case is : I searches for by the name of an employee but I only find the entry with the name.

There was tons of missing context. I then looked at the exact date of the convesation and took 2 minute to move back to the date in the chat. I was able to find the context but at some length.

Maybe instead of only loading the exact message I could be moved to the point of time in the conversation with all the other entries.

It does seem to search conversations but think the results could be better categorised making it easier to locate the Team/Channel you are looking for

I agree with this! although the search is "sort of working" it doesn't automatically show the conversation! (does not auto scroll to that section of the chat)

For example, I search for a keyword which is about 3 months old in a chat, the search result only shows that SINGLE line and if I want to get more context, I have to scroll and scroll and scroll up in the chat which takes me at least 5 to 10 mins.. depending how busy the chat has been!
