How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Add ability to lock wiki

For certain teams, we would only want a couple of people to be able to edit the wiki page, with the rest having view only. Or at the least, a way to track and approve/ reject proposed edits.

    Please please please implement this. We would love to use the wiki feature for company docs and knowledge bases but can't because of the accidental edits, and also compliance (cannot be be sure procedures are accurate and correct)

    Hey, PerfectWiki has ability to manage user access to a wiki and it is fully integrated into MicrosoftTeams. You can set up editors list and all other team members will have readonly access.

    I understand that Wiki suppose to be editable, but I don't want people to edit content by accident!...

    This is an absolute must! A management team needs to be able to share processes behind certain job functions for the analysts to follow. Without the ability to lock a Wiki, a newer analyst could accidentally change a step and ruin the process for everyone else.

    Please. Otherwise the only way to keep from accidental changes or deletions when sharing with thousands of people is to take screenshots and maintain offline. I do not want to do that.

    I understand a Wiki is supposed to be collaborative but there has to be a way of moderating the content to avoid chaos. The option to lock a Wiki to just moderators is a must have!

    Not being able to lock one changes he way I will use Teams for sure.

    The ability to lock a wiki opens up new use cases for the wiki app.

    This is not a special feature for a wiki ...

    This is the basic baseline! So please MS implement this one quickly!
