Provide a rollback or revision control capability for the wiki. We just had an accidental deletion of an entire section and there's no backup? "Undo" did not.
This request is still queued up in the backlog. No new details are available at this time.

I have just got my Wiki corrupted after pasting the image from the wiki itself. It has pasted the whole content of Teams Windows application window including left menu and, all teams and channels list, and the whole Wiki content with corrupted images... Undo shortcut is not working and I will lose a half day or more to rearrange the wiki content.
The ability to restore the previous version of Wiki could save my time.
I have finally successfully restored the previous (before corruption) version using Sharepoint.
But It would be nice to provide this functionality for non-admin users directly from Teams Application.

I've been providing training for Microsoft Teams recently and I inform everyone to get rid of the WiKi tab, it's a far worse OneNote, Teams comes with it's own OneNote notebook so just use this to take notes. It's also far easier to search for information in Onenote than the WiKi
Add your already created OneNote Teams notebook to a tab in your team for easy access.

The ability to undo has only been around since about 1968, so I can understand why MS is having such a problem getting it included...

It would be nice to have a git like version control to show diffs of each change in wiki that were made and who made them + whole version history of which any state is recoverable.
Well we just lost an entire Wiki because of this ****! I cant believe MS could leave such an important ability out of Teams!!!

Agree, we were looking at adopting Wiki functionality for a community of practice based in teams, and this was bought up as a valid concern. We are now looking for an alternative.
Same issue here. Please add a recycle bin for wiki items on MS Teams...
Also good to have transparency on all the changes made: who, when, what. similar to wikipedia or github
Wiki history for blame/revert, accessible through the Teams app/program would be great. We don't seem to have access to any underlying Sharepoint site as far as they've told us, so we're unable to easily recover/revert errors.
The pages are already stored in a sharepoint document library (as goofy .mht files) but why not have deleted pages go to the recycle bin? That's what happens in the files area... I would think you'd have to have turned it off here or something. But why?
In fact, versioning is turned on, so I could roll back to a previous version of a page. But, I think if somebody deletes that page, it's gone... am I missing that?
We just created a whole page, then the internet was down a bit and everything was deleted

I don't see an "undo" button. can you point out where it is?
I used ctrl+z and deleted a huge amount of data from my wiki page... (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18914338-ctrl-z-erases-entire-message#comments) I would love how to restore it... The method that Janice decribed does not seem to be there for us.

I discovered a way to undelete a section - if you go to the SharePoint Site and place the site in Classic SharePoint mode, you can see the wiki in the left Quick Launch panel (its a hidden list). If you click on the list, use the ribbon to change the view to see the items, you can open each item, each of which represents a section. There is a check box in each item that allows it to be deleted or not. Just uncheck the box to undelete it.
