Allow people to chat with themselves
Currently you are not able to initiate a chat with yourself. I use it on Slack for quick notes to myself, and I'd love to have some private tabs where I could store quick views to useful documents or a personal planner

Every TEAMS user needs a private personal channel that they can use for notes, images, tasks and etc.
Have a personal Channel for each user/allow messages to oneself. All major enterprise chat systems allow this and makes it much easier to access files, test features without bugging other users, etc
Furthermore, HipChat uses S3 buckets to store files uploaded that are publicly accessible. This is a bit of a double edged sword, since it's insecure putting it lightly, but it's a great method for uploading small files to a server because you get a link to the file once you send it to yourself and wget can retrieve that link.

It'd be better parity to have a /todo or /notes command so you can just post personal stuff in those tools.
This is a major functionality I use in Slack. It would be so helpful to have this in Teams as well!
This is a useful feature and it would be good to have this in Teams like Slack.
Slack has the ability for me to direct message myself, and this conversation is kept private. I tend to use this to pass small notes to myself when moving between computers.
I'd love to see this in Teams
