Adjust Team Picture (Reposition/Resize)
I find the lack of adjustment (positioning and zoom) annoying in Teams. I would like to be able to use a product/company logos for the team picture without having to manually crop/resize the pictures in microsoft paint using trial and error to get them to display nicely.
Pretty much all websites/chat programs has the functionality I have described. I have attached an example of the desired behaviour - available in Skype, but not available in Teams :(

Wanted to post that we acknowledge this feedback. We’re cranking on quite a few new features, so while you won’t see this soon, please know its on our to-do list!
I’ll let you know as it progresses forward.

It would be great if Microsoft fixes that.

Pic is not showing up correctly (pic is not centered) and showing white spaces on the left and top. Coming from Apple hardware and software made for Apple's OS to Microsoft hardware and software I am not impressed. It is frustrating that one cannot adjust a pic or even the color of the space if no pic is selected. Everyone kept telling me how customizable MS and PCs are, but I'm not seeing it. Problems like this make me want to return to Apple and the software for Apple cause it really does just work

You made my 8yr old cry today... after her school went back online using MS Teams, she wanted to have a profile photo like her classmates. After selecting and cropping many photos multiple times, each ended up just showing her ear or hair. So we took a photo she likes from the iPad app and saved. Then it failed to load across devices (school issued iPad, personal iPad, or my laptop) or re-cropped it again to show a random upper left fraction of her face. Epic fail, MS! Now I want to Cry.... seeing you haven't solved or been responsive to your customers in over 3 years! Since my spouse is on the school's board, we are going to recommend moving to another platform and provider as we had at our previous school. MS is being eclipsed by innovators with EASIER to use features -- not tools that complicate the collaborative environment.

We have integrated our SharePoint structure with Teams and now we are running into issue where the Team picture in Teams is getting updated and it changes the Site logo in SharePoint. We need a way to turn this synchronization off so that we can maintain branding on SharePoint sites.

This was over three years ago. I see it is still not fixed and an issue.

We are three years later and it is still not possible. Amazing and really worrisome that you are unable to add such a simple feature that every app has.

Has this come along at all since 2017? I still can't get a decent picture uploaded to Teams. No matter how small I make the picture, it adjusts when I upload and blows up the face portion of my picture and cuts off my head.

Something that worked for me to view another presenter with smaller pics or fonts
Hold down the Ctrl key and use the + or - keys to adjust
OR
Hold hold down the Ctrl key and roll your mouse wheel if you have one
Hopes this works for you. -

Wow. Over 2 years later and still this simple function is still not available. You can do it with your MS profile picture. What's the hold up?!

Right now, I and everyone else in my organization is unable to change the teams picture from the default to a custom logo. There is a little red "can't do this" icon (see attached picture) when we try.

I pasted a medium-sized screenshot into chat. It looks like the pic was unnaturally shrunken, and limited to a certain area. (I've attached what the result looked like).
