Gantt view for Planner Tasks
When using The planner tasks TAB, we would to have the possibility to have a gantt view of our planificated tasks
This request is still in the backlog, no new details are available at this time.
I’ll continue to watch for new information from the feature team to share with you.

This would be a game changer.
Any updates? This would be a huge help.
Where on backlog??
Please do keep us updated.

Very sad indeed. We were expecting that feature when we started using Microsoft Teams.
Very sad that this is moved to backlog. This is a highly important feature for task/project planning and visualization. Now we have to consider purchase an alternative such as Wrike.
Any ETA on this feature?
Love this idea. I'm also confused as to why there is a "start date" on cards but there's not really a chart that goes with that.

Completely agree, smartsheet biggest value for me is to have both Kanban and timeline integrated in the same place. All elements for a Gantt chart are available:
1. Each Bucket is an Item of the chart
2. Each Task is a sub-item with initial and final date (timeline)
3. Each subtask is a sub-sub-item that can be assigned as a milestone in the gantt chart, users can drop it in the timeline.
This would make Planner extremely more valuable to me.

Agree, without Gannt chart, there is no way how to get the idea about team members availability and overall team utilization.

I think the main point of this idea is we should be able to see a Gantt chart of all the tasks in a Planner tab since the Start and Due dates are available to be assigned a value. The start date really has no value unless it adds to our ability to show what is going on for a timeline.
