Do Not Disturb unexpectedly changes to Available
I set myself to "Do Not Disturb"
I send a message or a chat.
Teams decides I'm available, and changes me to "Available."
NO, DND means JUST THAT. Please STOP changing my availability!

Once your tenant is using UPS (unified presence service), you should no longer have issues where DND changes back to available.
If you are on UPS, and are experiencing this issue, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with any details to teamsml@microsoft.com.
Thanks all!

what he/she said...TG2. I concur. Posted in 2017... now 2020. Looks like Microsoft is just to incompetent to implement a change. I work in Adobe and have suggested changes and multiple times have received emails from them letting me know they addressed the issue. One time they even sent me an advanced update to the specific app so I could make sure it resolved the issues. Microsoft just sucks

jesus f**kin christ on a popsicle stick. WTF microsoft .. when are you going to get this f**king mess fixed? DISCONNECT F**KING TEAMS from unified f**king what ever..
*I* THE USER SET MY STATUS YOU DO NOT F**KING CHANGE IT ... HOW F**KING DIFFICULT IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND???
don't care if I'm in a meeting .. give ME THE USER the ability to control the status! Give it a f**king checkbox .. control by Teams / Office / Calendar .. or Control by User ..
Every time microsoft THINKS its knows best for the user, we find YET ANOTHER issue with their bullsh*t.
just had this DND to "non" dnd status happen .. have been upset by microsoft's auto changing for OTHER statuses for some time .. because our company uses a ticket system that sets calendar "busy" time .. and here we are .. microsoft thinks that sh*t is real.. and changes teams chat status .. f**king enough already microsoft .. just because our calendar says one thing .. doesn't make it so for the other..
eg.. I may be busy on a ticket issue, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't get information or chat from other team members ..
again.. give us the ability to BREAK the sync you think is so f**king ********** star spangled awesome .. because its not .. and its wrong and it should not be changing status unless the USER ok's it to do so!

Still an issue - SIGH. Thanks Microsoft. You've made my attempt at working after hours a miserable experience.

I've had this issue too. Status randomly changes to Available. WTF

How can we proactively set Do Not Disturb hours? It's 9:15 p.m. and people are Teams calling me.

Its funny I just spent an hour on the phone with support and they said they have never seen this issue.
Apparently I am not the only one. Pathetic.

Same. Still happening to me as of today. This is ridiculously stupid. Busy and DND status should never change on its own.

Mine does the opposite. It changes without warning to DND, and then no one can reach me.

Still happens for me on Mac. "You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.1.00.11551. It was last updated on 5/7/18."

Even with the latest status integrations/updates, this is still happening. I set both Skype (consumer) and Teams to DND when I went into a meeting, and when I checked Skype was still DND, even though I had opened it, while Teams was green again. It should never, ever go off DND unless it's scheduled or I manually change it. I thought this was being fixed as part of the S4B status integration - I would hardly call that complete until this is fixed.

I can confirm Teams changes Status even when my account is logged in after it was Locked. Please fix it.
