Integrate the Teams functions in to Sharepoint.
Having both Teams and Sharepoint is confusing. Why not have one tool with all the features? I like the collaborative aspects of Teams but don't like that it bounces me between the Teams and Sharepoint UI. Very confusing to people.
I would like to use Sharepoint as a backing store/service for Teams. Currently it doesn't behave like that and requires Sharepoint knowledge. When a vanilla default site is presented, it shouldn't require Sharepoint experience from the user but quite the opposite - a default prescribed usage that makes plain sense.
You should try to add the SharePoint site as a "Website" tab to the team (instead of SP tab which connects only a library).
That will help users not to leave teams to check SP activity or other related content.
