Include Teams message channels in SharePoint and Dynamics 365.
Like you can do with Yammer, it would be great to be able to insert a Teams channel into a SharePoint site or Dynamics account page, etc. In Dynamics, you can use a Yammer chat in lieu of the Activity Feed. Likewise, in a Sharepoint Group site, you can use Yammer in lieu of a team news feed, etc. It would be great to be able to do the same with a channel from Teams. There are too many app-specific ways to communicate (activity feed for Dynamics, news feed for Sharepoint, Channels for Teams), and most people don't want to have to check Teams, Yammer, SharePoint, Dynamics, etc. to know if they missed something. Right now, the only chat-type feed that can meaningfully interoperate with all of them is Yammer. The suggestion is to allow a Teams channel to interoperate at least as well as Yammer does with Sharepoint and Dynamics. Thanks.

I've also created a suggestion at SharePoint forum, if you would like to support: https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration/suggestions/37701208-adding-teams-channels-as-web-part

I am very suprised to realise that Teams Channels can not be added to SharePoint. How difficult can it be? All I am trying to create an environment for users to reach everything in one place. It is pretty confusing and demanding to ask them switch between apps all the time. I believe this feature is a must that needs to be completed as soon as possible.

I would like a way to attach a Teams channel to SharePoint list items. The scenario for us is that we have a list of active jobs, and different staff members are involved in different jobs. I'd like to be able to create an entry in the SP list and have it automatically create a Teams channel, linked to from my new SP item. Then, when I edit the SP item and select a staff member within a given field, have stat staffer added to the Teams channel. Possible?
Absolutely! We've been waiting for this to happen but it's looking bad. If nothing begins to move on this front soon, we might have to start looking other prodcuts and solutions completely.
Teams message chanels in SharePoint at least is badly needed! Microsoft wake up!
I agree, if the idea is consolidation of information then why cant the teams chat be available on the Sharepoint site?

Lots of integration coming to Teams, less in SharePoint

This is an essential piece I am surprised more enterprise users are not screaming for. As an organisation of 450+ we are trying to consolidate communication / collaboration platforms. Teams is on the right path - but we want to be able to have 'news' from teams visible on some of SharePoint sites (eg: a channel for engineering shows on the engineering SharePoint home page). Instead of news, yammer, group email chat, skype chat, email chains and any number of other threads of conversation - we really want to just have teams as the place you go to do ALL communication, collaboration and conversation.
1 place to check for all your news, chats, etc. To that end, it also needs to be able to be accessed from SharePoint sites much like yammer currently does. A web part for teams that enables you to read a channel, or teams posts, aggregate a users news (like the activity feed) or home feed on yammer is a must have for us. We even tried to develop this ourselves but the graph API is not quite ready yet, cant access the messages only teams and channels...

Our intranet is a key part of our internal communications for our people – there are several ways that bringing teams into SharePoint would be hugely beneficial for us. Firstly being able to insert channels as a widget or feed on any given page on our Intranet site to bring the collaboration from teams onto pages in our intranet to tie the two platforms together would be great.
Another way we would like to see these integrated - As a user we would like our people to be able to open the intranet and see a ‘home feed’ from teams, on the SharePoint online intranet site. Having the ability to see "activity feed' or a feed that shows latest posts from selected or all channels would be fantastic. Being able to click onto the feed to interact or respond to a message from SharePoint online would be even better! But at minimum if you clicked a message it opened the team’s app to the appropriate message thread to so you could respond.
The key is not to make teams fully functional is SharePoint – but just to provide a way to bring the conversations and collaboration from Teams into the intranet where people can see the company and files and conversations together.
Finally – When I search on the intranet I want to be able to return search results from conversations in teams as well. And be able to filter search result by conversations. Just like I can search files uploaded from Teams, so I should be able to search what was said in Teams. As a user I want to have one place to go to search everywhere across all my files, conversations, e-mail, calendar, notebooks etc – this makes sense to have in SharePoint online. Thanks!
