Please also add this to Live Events. Our attendees want to be able to down vote a question they don't agree with.

Yes we 100% need a thumbs down emoji. This is just as beneficial as having a thumbs UP.

Our colleagues need to be able to upvote or downvote any individual chat item / idea / software feature idea / lunch location, etc, like in other advanced social/tech platforms. These should probably be added as an option to turn on via Settings, and should be implemented such that downvoters of a 'floated idea' need to give a reason for the downvote.

Not all the news are positive... sometimes you want people to react quickly on an idea : Thumbs up od Down ; you can quickly get an idea of people minds

Upvote this! :) No for reals, why is there a thumbs up, but no thumbs down? If it's a matter of negativity, why do we have a little guy with boxing gloves punching the screen?
