Transfer active call between devices
Transfer an active call in Teams from my phone to my desktop and back. This for comming back at the office or leaving the office.
We are excited to announce this feature is now available for the public. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/office/join-a-teams-meeting-on-a-second-device-c28e7407-183b-46ea-ab17-2212700e5f41.

This is a feature that is needed to make Teams more useful for the mobile workforce.
This is required, to hang up and re-call because of the device you use is not productive. Is there an update to this feature?
Looking forward to this feature. Pls update when it will be available.

Can we have an update please?
Is there an update for feature to transfer active calls from cellphone to laptop?
Very nice - looking forward to this :)
Looking forward to this!
funny thing is you can do this with group calls, and meetings, but not one and one calls? Why not just allow me to join to call from the phone like it does with groups chats and meetings.
This would be a very useful feature. I'm frequently walking about my office and out of earshot of the laptop. I take the calls on cell. Then I ultimately need to hang up and reconnect to share content during discussion.

I want be able to initialize a call at a desktop client but using a default device (desktop phone like T58A) to start the call - so a kind of auto transfer

I think this is the same issue we have, we take Teams calls on our phones then want to share our desktop on our laptops via the app but it shares the desktop on your phone.
So, to understand...at this point, if i am on a Teams meeting on my iphone and I want to join via laptop once in office, i cannot, correct? i have been trying to do so today and not successful. In another system called Circuit, i am able to pull meetings from one device to another in either direction and it works seamlessly.
Is this really not possible in Teams or am i missing something?
Thanks, really great.
However, please solve this issue for peer-to-peer calls in one go:
If there would be a button to "call my other devices" we could do both using PC for screen sharing and mobile phone for voice (e.g. if no mic is available) as well as changing the device as demanded in this post.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks Alex, waiting for you. :-)
I've had requests for people to use their mobile phone as the audio device when making calls from the desktop.
This would save us having to deploy additional handset/headsets to users that have company phones.
To be clear, the request is for a user to initiate a call on the desktop client, but have the teams client on their mobile phone actually make the call.

Our company is pushing teams hard company wide so this feature is needed. I am national Trainer that travels and either my cell or PC is always running, to be able to have this switch between devices is a must. Please update any information available.
