Audio call recording in Teams
How about recording an audio call when initiating a Teams call, similar to how Skype for Business does ?

For organizations that need call recording for compliance purposes, admins can set via policy. To see how this works for calling and meetings, please see https://docs.microsoft.com/MicrosoftTeams/teams-recording-policy.
1:1 convenience recording is currently on the teams backlog. We will share an updated here as soon as it is available.

I work for a government agency. We like teams internally for a variety of reasons. However, sometimes some of our meetings must be open to the public. We can't add "barriers" to access, so if we needed people to send us a request and then "invite" them, that would be a barrier. Is it possible to add some type of public meeting link that would allow people to see and hear the meeting? If they could comment, that would be a plus but we'd need to be able to control that, of course.

Any update on compliance recording? Why partner with 3rd parties - seems crazy to do this when most of what the 3rd party is powered by Microsoft ecosystem!

I have several clients who want to move to Teams and Business Voice but cannot do so until call recording is available, this is critical and a massive missing element.
Please provide some details on when it might be avilable.

This is an essential and is the reason our company is not using business voice. If this was on, we would have bought in today.

Calls should be able to record for Peer to Peer as well as it might be official.
Since there is already a recording feature available in a conference mode, what is the timeline to integrate this feature for non-conference mode?
Thanks.

Fully agree, with this product, I could get the Voice licence and use TEAMS for a lot more within the entire business It would also be a great option for small businesses. Please consider!

Any updates on 1:1 Call recording? Is it still on the backlog or is it being worked on? I would really like for Teams to have this capability without the use of a third party product.

Please add one-on-one calling! Would be great to have. We are holding off on migrating until this feature is added.

If you would like a work-around that lets you record calls today, then you can choose the "Show Participants" while you're in a Teams Call...add another participant to the call, such as your cell phone which you can answer and mute (or a dummy teams user that you can answer for), and the recording button with be enabled. After your call is finished, the recording with show in the chat area under the Recent group (saved to Stream)

I can see that the current status of this request have changed, could we get an confirmation from Microsoft that they are currently working on it and maybe an estimated delivery date?
