team channels - hierarchy.
Ability to provide channel hierarchy under a team would help alleviate space, improve visual search capabilities when trying to locate a team project

I think this is one of the main thing my colleagues miss in Teams: They want the same hierarchy as in the File Explorer. Synchronizing teams/sites is not the solution. Please improve - also it is very annoying when switching between Teams, I have to start at the base (if there is folder hierarchy underneath).

It's a necessary change to offer flexibility to manage converations and a way to reduce the numbers of teams. It's the same feature that Outlook offers to manage your emails, using folders to organize them.

I even feel that the ability to organize channels in a hierarchy is a must. Putting all a team's work (channels) in a one-dimensional listing is like working with a telephone book (being unfair to telephone books that had a level of logical hierachy).

The document folders have multi hierarchy.
Could you consider team chennels multi hierarchy as same as the documnet folder -

Love the idea but how would OneNote be handled? Currently the channel is shown as a section in OneNote. The hierarchal channel would have to be it's own section in OneNote or OneNote would have to be changed to allows sub-sections much like pages have sub-pages in OneNote desktop. Teams would show the hierarchal channels and clicking on a OneNote tab of a channel/sub-channel would show only its section. If viewed in OneNote desktop the sections and sub-sections would be clearly visible.

Definitely, it would be a good improvement. We could have teams, channels in those teams, and hierarchy in those channels to get better classification (and clarity)
