Make Teams web app available in Safari
I receive a message hat is coming soon...any updates?
This is currently in Preview – planned to release very soon.
In the following weeks, Teams will be rolling out support on Safari 11+ on macOS. While in preview, there are known issues with Safari’s ITP mode and it is advised that users disable Safari’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention.

I found stuff that said safari will be supported.
That was 2 years ago
2 years later.... “ Why is it not supported yet”
Soon for Microsoft is 2 years LOL, group calls already work, you can create a call via calendar and join if via a link but you cannot call contacts directly? Total joke

Any news on the possibility to open Teams directly in Safari? (and not being forced to use another browser when considering the web app)

Any plans to make this actually work? I've given up on the mac client (has the developer team ever actually *used* a mac?). Looks like no-one bothered testing the Safari version, either on macOS, iPadOS, or iOS. The same failings have been plaguing it for months. It's a shambling wreck.
Hi! Another user that would like to know when this option will be available?
Hello, When will it be available ? Thank you

Wow, very soon? Since Feb 2019? Not a single message afterwards. That’s amazing.
"very soon", Feb 19, 2019. Please define "very" or "soon".

Please define the following weeks!!
Not being able to open TEAMS from within your IOS device is not good for business.
Anyone deploying a telemedicine solution in their healthcare practice expects the patient on the other side of the video call to be able to get online with just one click.
Having to download TEAMS on your iPhone or iPad in order to complete your setup is unrealistic for Medicare and Medicaid patients.
If MS wants to push TEAMS as a telemedicine solution it needs to figure out how to make it work with Safari and not force patients to download the TEAMS app
I am trying to access a link from a microsoft teams link to my iPad and a safari pop up tells me it is not a valid link but the link works on other computers . Can you help .

Not being able to view/change the meeting settings in Safari ("use another browser") is a huge pain.
calling feature on microsoft teams for safari is now out! https://www.microsoft.com/pt-br/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=65330
you need to turn off cross tracking feature on safari preferences

For the admins...
Does the scope of this request include IOS Safari, or just MacOS Safari?
What does "soon" mean? Rather, what does "following weeks" mean? Clearly it doesn't mean what most people think of as a few weeks, because that "coming soon" response is from NINETEEN WEEKS ago. Can you please provide a better estimate? I have a client on Safari and it was a pain for them to join my video because they were forced to figure out that it didn't work on Safari and were left scrambling to go to a different browser. This needs to roll out asap (aka not nineteen weeks).
Team meetings support audio and incoming screen sharing in Safari 13.1 from 25 June 2020.
Video is coming soon.

If Microsoft doesn't allow Teams video calls through the Safari browser, wide option of Teams isn't going to be possible at my org. Outside guests using Safari have already said they're not willing to download the Teams app for a video call, so we've had to switch to Zoom
