meeting reminders
Regardless of where a meeting is created, Outlook or Microsoft Teams, the 15 minute reminders and the like should generate a notification from Microsoft teams to the user, either a popup dialogue window or otherwise.

Work on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress.

A pop up box would be very very helpful!

Provide a notification pop up that the "meeting is starting in 5 minutes" and a "join" button like WebEx does. I keep missing the start of the Teams meeting because there is no "time to join" notification. Not sure why you would not have that since starting a meeting on time is important the outlook notification just doesn't give good enough notification where I don't miss the start time.

We have are about to migrate from Cisco Webex to MS Teams Meeting. This is one of number one users complaint. People are arriving late and missing meetings due to webex 5 mins reminder

what's the hold up on having a Teams meeting reminder installed? The Teams system should have never been rolled out and implemented without this very BASIC but useful function.

Please add an SMS message option to the alerts.
In the past, I wrote a script to have Outlook text me a bare-bones reminder whenever something happens. This is very useful when away from my desk, especially out in the field somewhere with limited connectivity.
I absolutely do not want an app with lots of busy features...just simple reminders. -

I'm very excited to hear that this is in development now! Meeting reminder notifications are the one reason why I still have to keep Outlook open all day long (instead of just checking in on email at set times in the day) which leads to a lot of context switching. This might seem like an insignificant feature but it will provide some much-needed quiet/calm and focus in my day. Thank you for making the effort to do this!!

Is it possible to add a function so people can sign up to a meeting, as they can in a webinar software?

Any chance that this issue has been resolved? We would migrate to teams primarily if the notification system was a little more fluid. Employees have no real way of knowing exactly when the meeting is (Upper level/Mid level management such as myself get handcuffed to client calls sometimes and need to delay the meeting 15min etc). The lack of notifications makes tracking quite difficult.

+1 Would we be able to decide whether to have reminders in Teams or Outlook? Or is it going to be both at the same time if you are running both applications?

+1 with S4B everybody nicely joined every meeting the moment it started, now half of the people don't even realize until they run 10mins late (including myself)

+1 for this feature. Create a meeting in Outlook, can't "Join" the meeting in teams. Create a meeting in Teams, no reminders. What gives?

Has there been any progress on adding the ability to set a reminder for meetings set up in Teams yet?

It's now or never? Why is MS sugesting not to use SFB if TEAMS is not having similar functions?
