meeting reminders
Regardless of where a meeting is created, Outlook or Microsoft Teams, the 15 minute reminders and the like should generate a notification from Microsoft teams to the user, either a popup dialogue window or otherwise.

Work on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress.

Please can you provide an ETA for this feature? The last admin comment was 13 months ago.

Agree with commenter on 3/1/21. It has been a year now...has this not yet been implemented? This is a basic function and colleagues miss meetings due to lack of responding to invite or lack of reminders.

Please implement this ASAP. There should be an option to set reminders days to minutes before the meeting. I would like a reminder sent to all participants the day before. I'm surprised this wasn't already featured.

"Work on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress." Quite literally over a year ago at this point.
I get it, global pandemic and all that. Your dev-team should 100% be able to handle this without resorting to telling users "Make a flow in powerautomate for this".
First, I can't make flows for any of my fellow employees, who quite literally barely handle the computer in general.
We should be able to set our accounts for reminders, how often we want them, and in what time increments.
I have multiple employees hoping to get a notification about meeting times at 45 minutes to start-time, and another at 5-minutes. Just the one notification, if you have outlook open on the desktop, at 15-minutes is not nearly enough.

It would be really great to get this feature implemented ASAP. No need to add all the bells and whistles now. I would just really like to be able to close Outlook to not be distracted by incoming e-mail, but still be notified about new meetings via the Calendar already in Teams. If you expect users to move most of their activity over to Teams, similar to how companies use Slack, (and I would think this is your goal) then this is a must-have feature.

What is really needed? A persistent reminder until the user closes the reminder or joins the meeting.

Of course, Teams meetings need the reminder functionality of Outlook, but with these additional features:
1) Schedule push message to all attendees' Teams app, each device
2) Ability to set multiple reminders, e.g., 24 hours before, plus an hour before
3) Ability to set email reminders, also multiple, as not all users will keep Teams apps open all the time or have notifications enabled.I consider this a significant functionality gap. Please prioritize it.

"Any update on this?"
I ask ... Like a raindrop in a Class 5 Hurricane, expecting about the same impact on urgency.

Has there been any update on this as it has been a year? As someone else stated Slack is able to do this without any issues.

We definitively needs this feature, including the control on the timing at which the notification fires.

the ability to edit notification settings is a must have as well
realistically the teams calendar should have all of the the same functionality as the outlook calendar -

This is a KEY functionality. Please add this asap, thx.

Please add this feature asap. For me, it is strange that adding such easy functionality takes so much time. That same is working fine for Skype meeting. All events are triggered by the calendar that is ready as well. So why it is taking so much time?

My mind is literally blown that Teams does not have the capability to send out reminders to all attendees. This is a basic function that anyone who uses Teams requires. Is there any update on when this function will be available?

Great! I was just reporting this to our IT yesterday. WE are moving from Webex to MS Teams and boy do I miss the pop up reminder to start my meeting (like with Webex). I am concerned I am going to miss a lot of meetings until this feature is added. Please hurry. :)

Need this. Slack was GREAT at doing this, you got a little message with 1min to go on the event with a link to join. Teams gives zero notifications, also the web outlook365 is inconsistent with notifications, seeing as the meeting it IN teams, then teams should notify the user

Hi - Can see a Working on it from Microsoft Teams from a year ago - this feature doesn't seem to yet be available and we are using teams a lot now so could really do with it.
