Regardless of where a meeting is created, Outlook or Microsoft Teams, the 15 minute reminders and the like should generate a notification from Microsoft teams to the user, either a popup dialogue window or otherwise.
Work on meeting reminder for Teams meetings is in progress.

Respectfully, it is a little absurd that this has not been dealt with already.
Not only might there be a need on a case by case basis for a meeting reminder to be different than 15 minutes, there are many *people with exceptionalities* that actually need more than 15 minutes advanced notice. Just from an "accessibility" perspective, if nothing else, this should have already been addressed.
Come on MS Teams, surely this is ready by now!
Who the ** hardcoded 15 mintues without the ability to change!?
Now it goes off too early and by the time the meetings starts I have already closed all the popups and forgot about the meeting because I fill the time productively.
UX tip: Users are not staring at the screen for 15 minutes waiting for meeting to start.
Please make this customizable

This reminder should just carry over from Outlook. So in the morning I get a curated list of meeting and then during the day I see the pop-up that I have a meeting in 10 minutes in TEAMS messaging.
Will this allow to set reminders also for posts? Or only for meetins?

This set of settings (alarms, free, private) should have calendar level defaults. For instance, with a 'room reserved' calendar. Allow the calendar settings default of 'Free' on the meetings. And for assignments to the Job Interview Calendar, a default of 'Private'.
Also, multiple alarms should be allowed for an event: 1 hour warning, 5 minutes before needing to join the meeting (so the link to join shows up).
This has been being worked on for over a year, Webex had a wonderful way to be reminded and allow users to join meetings. As far as I'm concerned this is something that, when I'm asked for my opinion about Teams, makes me tell people it's not ready for prime time. This has got to become a priority, I'm sure there are many people like me who are tired of being late or missing meetings because they have are focused and the 15 second popup is not adequate. Get this implemented ASAP please.

Teams Webinar must add a feature to send (multiple if desired) reminder emails to registrants at times specified by creator - day(s) ahead, hour(s) ahead. Basic feature of other webinar platforms.
With the new webinar feature an e-mail as reminder should be send out to registrants prior to the webinar.
Seriously Microsoft, this simple "must have feature" of reminders is missing and Microsoft has been sitting on it since 2019.
Cannot really understand.

Derek and Jeff;
I saw the comment on reminders for events in Outlook or Calendar being closed by admin, and I see why in the comment above: Microsoft is working on it.
But for those of you who wanted the /Remind equivalent from Slack, take heart.
Our Microsoft Teams bot called Kippa: fast and easy reminders for Teams, will be on sale on August 1st, about 6 weeks from now.
Kippa accepts natural language, personal, channel, team or @mention reminders. Reminders can be simple, "remind me to get some milk at 5:30pm today", or complex, "remind @channel that agenda items for tomorrow's meeting are due now at 3:30pm every Thursday, stop December 23rd.”
Kippa also automatically deals with timezones and switches in daylight savings times, to ensure your reminders fire at the right time, every time.
My email is below; anyone wanting to join in the private Beta is welcome to contact me.
This is not a replacement for the team-wide reminders feature which was just declined. This is for meeting reminders.
We need the ability to set reminders for things that are not tied to a meeting/appointment.

I'm disappointed that there is no team-wide reminder as well. While this request is nice the other would also be great!!!!

Thank you for your feedback. The request for team-wide reminders has been declined.
^^this is a travesty. This is a built in feature in Slack that people have been requesting for years that is obviously very helpful. Apparently Microsoft doesn't care about being a worse version of Slack.
Amazing that Slack somehow has better integration with Outlook than Microsoft's own product...
It's easy to forget meetings with a busy schedule. The reminders with Webex were very helpful specially with the banner notification. It would be nice to have the same type of reminders with Teams. Before I was able able to snooze 5 or 10 minutes before the meeting started. Even better would be to have a countdown clock as a reminder for the meeting.
Would be great if there was a notification that pops up and does not close after 5 seconds again, but needs active closing by the user. Would be even better if one could set it (per default) to different times
Should be implemented - finally. - Look at Webex, e.g.

It seems that when a meeting is scheduled for a Channel, those in the Channel are not notified in email so they have the option to accept, and ********* their calendar. Meetings are getting missed. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has found a solution to this important issue.

I really have a problem looking up 10 minutes before a meeting. refocusing on my work and not looking up until 10 minutes before a meeting has started. I'd love a feature that would just automatically start my scheduled teams meetings. Or give me a big countdown clock desktop widget that won't hide.
