Improve audio notifications
VOLUME: The sound is too low!! Most people don't think it's even on. Let us customize the sound level, please.
UNIQUE SOUNDS FOR CALLS VS CHATS/MESSAGES: Right now sounds are all or nothing. This is not good. For example, you may want to have sound for Calls but not for chat or messages. There is a difference when you need to hear that someone is calling you – versus getting the constant bing/bing/bing on message chat.
UNIQUE SOUND FOR PRIVATE CHAT: It would be nice to have different sounds for private chat and notifications, so that its easy to know what's coming in without having to look at it.

The team has updated the default sound for Teams notifications so it is more noticeable. We are in final testing, with a goal to release the new sound by the end of this quarter.

The number one feedback item has been the sound notifications for our company. Please help get this in motion!

Simple change to let the user select a LOUD ring tone would make all the difference

An option for visually more obtrusive would also be nice.

This is critically important. We can't roll this product out until the notifications are much louder and more customizable. We have missed important messages in our testing because of the volume issue.

Just want to jump on this bandwagon. I've been trying to get my company to utilize Teams for months, and this is the biggest complaint I hear. Over and over and over again. This seems like an easy fix, and something that even the simplest applications take into consideration.

Always give the user the choice.
I work in a quiet office and obtrusive notifications would be annoying. But many people work in much more noisy environments.
No one sound scheme will work for everyone, so allow customization.

Notification sounds are not obtrusive enough. The current notification sound scheme is barely audible even when actively using my computer. As someone who is on-call and occasionally receives critical messages via chat, I need notifications to be audible and identifiable from a distance. Either change the default notification sounds to something more audible or provide the ability to customize sound scheme and volume.

Please end the constant updates during the workday. And create a less fickle and far less subtle "alert" sound.

Miss audible notifications.
Please advise how to reinstate as soon as possible. -

We need this! We need to customize the notification sound and make it louder!

I am recommending to my company we dump Teams and revert to email (or another product, perhaps Slack). Simply because of THIS one issue. If you don't have your headphones on, you miss any noise. Then it is pure chance whether you notice the small icon change (and almost always too late).
Teams needs to be able to enable a "new messages" notification notice, like Outlook has. -

I'd also like to see similar senarios to Skype4B for Teams, where a call notification can be send out multiple audio devices.

Yes, this is completely annoying. My (current, Mac) settings are set to "All" for sound, and I get absolutely NO sounds when someone pings me or mentions me. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

'Chiming in' that we need better 'chiming' from Teams!

If implemented, this must definitely be an option!

Aww really there is no sound change, that is ridiculous. The Microsoft is really doing awful things with their products lately, they don't think about UX, UI.

I had to turn on email notifications because I miss to many with the super low sound volume...
