Stuck in a login loop after password change
I recently change my system password, with MS Teams is already up and running in the background. I open Teams to check new messages, and it locks the app with the pop up "Can you please sign in again? Sorry for any inconvenience. Login Now"
I click Login Now but all it does is restarting MS Teams and show me the same message. I am unable to re-authenticate. I've tried restarting the application, that didn't work.
I had to right click on the systray icon to logout and re-login. I should be able to re-login when the app prompted "Login Now"

I was able to resolve following the suggestion below to right-click and "run as administrator" -- instead of administrator, I put the user's email. This led to user login screen, user was able to log in normally.
FIX: here is my fix, I had a same problem,
Close ms Team
delete (or rename to TEAM_OLD) the Teams dir in /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/
try to login
In a multi client enviroment (200+ pc, 50+ iPhone and 30+ iPad) I receive almost everyday a call "help me, Teams does not log me in"
Like Steve said - Tony's comment worked like a charm on my Macbook too! Thanks a lot, haha.
Tony's comment worked on my MAC thanks man. Big meeting Monday, can't say thanks enough.
Found the solution, after trying a few suggestions nothing work. Then I right mouse clicked the MS Teams icon on the mac taskbar and clicked log out there. I was taken to the first screen like new install and worked correctly

Allow access to statics.teams.cdn.office.net through the firewall
Previously added was office.com, so MS probably changed a url that teams connects to, that triggered this
Here is a Fix... Get someone to send you a teams meeting. Click on the link and open in app.
Once you do this you can see an option at the bottom, to click sign in. This will then bring up the same "Send Link Loop", if you cancel, you will see an option to sign out.

July 2020 and I found this problem again. I tried Credential Manager cleanup, dsregcmd commands, app deletion, etc. A DISGRACE to Microsoft.
जब हम लोगों आउट करते हैं फिर से हमें दूसरे फोन में लॉगिन करना है सेम पासवर्ड के साथ तो क्या करें
It's absolutely ridiculous that this hasn't been fixed yet.
Typically, clearing cached credentials as per Haniels's superb post (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/recovering-from-incorrect-microsoft-teams-login/m-p/52412) should help but I have been unable to do so as the credential manager would not launch.
So, I had to find another solution and this works for me. NOTE: you should not run these commands if you don't know what you're doing. I cannot accept any responsibility for any problems caused by following the steps below.
Also note, in my circumstances I am using a domain joined laptop which is also registered in Microsoft Azure. Please consider if this is reflective of your own circumstance.
1. Close down teams and office
2. launch an elevated command prompt
3. run dsregcmd /status (this will show you if your laptop is registered with Microsoft Azure). If it is not registered, run dsregcmd /leave. Then run dsreg /join
4. In the same elevated command prompt, you may need to run gpupdate /force
6. Sign back into teams.
I changed my Microsoft email and pass word. but they say there is a client request loop to contact app advisor. What the heck?
How to view my own password in teams app
Same problem with password change. Please fix
How to contact MS Teams_PWD for queries?
I fixed my problem by trying to log in as another non-existing account which popped up a microsoft log-in window where I was able to enter my new password. After that Teams loaded properly.
After 3 years ,still the same issue and no solution. What a great bug fixing company!!!!

I openend a support ticket.
The solutions proposed are only workaround:
1. Clear windows credentials - requires restart
2. Remove work or school account - requires restart
3. Sign out of Teams
4. Clear the Teams cache - %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams
5. Uninstall and re-install Teams
