Allow us to turn of flashing taskbar notifications
Flashing taskbar notifications are a bit annoying, and it would be nice to have the option to turn off that flashing (while keeping popup notifications enabled).
Please let us turn off flashing taskbar notifications.

There indeed should be an option to turn this flashing off. I can read messages as they come in the pop-up, i should not have to go and open the whole Teams window to make the flashing go away.
It currently enforces you to stop focusing on your work, click the flashing away. Which is really irritating when someone keeps sending you many 1 liner messages which you can just read from the pop-ups.

If you have autohidden taskbar then every time a notification comes up and you don't quickly close it, the taskbar pops up because of the flashing alert status on the Teams. Please change this!
Please prioritise fixing this. I have been using teams for a few months now, and this is my biggest gripe. A lot of people find it incredibly distracting. The only way of getting rid of it seems to be switching to Do Not Disturb, which means that you can get no notifications or calls whatsoever.
The taskbar flashing is driving me insane! It doesn’t respect the registry setting thst tells taskbar entries to not blink. I want it to just light up orange like all well-behaving apps.
Turns off all batches. But I find that an okay half-solution - compared to this annoying taskbar flash.
It is literally the most annoying thing and makes me want to tear my hair out. MAKE IT STOP
Its a great tool, this is the only very annoying thing about it. Please fix asap.
What is the use of this UserVoice, if even these simple things gets unanswered for more than a year?

This flashing icon is infuriating. If it blinked 2 or 3 times and then stopped fine, but it just doesn't stop and it DEMANDS my attention.
I am a developer and this type of distraction is very disruptive.
An overlay on the taskbar icon that shows new messages is all it need.

It would be nice if Teams would simply respect default OS behavior and not force flash the taskbar button even if ForegroundFlashCount is set to 0.
Please prioritize this. Right now, if I want to have any notifications at all, my only option is to get two visual artifacts per notification: a banner, which is not integrated into the Windows 10 Action Center, and then the Teams window flashing in the Taskbar. I want the banner notification, integrated into Action Center, but once that's done, there's no need to have the Taskbar icon flashing at me. The flashing turns Teams into a distraction engine. Electron is not an excuse for a first-party Microsoft app not to properly integrate into Windows 10.
The flashing is very annoying/distracting and adds to work stress.
please add option to disable.

For Prash, if I'm AFK and I miss the pop-up, then that's on me. I can always check Teams to see if there's activity I've missed, but I get a _lot_ of activity and the taskbar seems to be flashing all the time. It's very distracting.

Please fix the flashing icon bug. If the application gains focus after a notification is displayed, the icon does not need to flash. I have clearly acknowledged the notification. Don't make me break my workflow and alt-tab again to make the icon stop flashing. Incredibly annoying.
What if you're AFK and miss the pop up?
