Conversation History
Send chat history to outlook " Conversation History" . Good practice, backup all communications. Please microsoft do not forget the basic requirements for use in companies.

Yes, I frequently use the conversation history in Skype to get important data from previous chats with coworkers. Please add this function into Teams!

the conversation history was one of the best features of Skype. it allowed to go back in time and search for something important that was said during a chat. Can we have this back in Teams as well?

I avoid Teams because it doesn't track & email me a conversation history. With Skype going away next year, I really hope Microsoft can get it together and give us conversation history email via Teams.
It's not easy to look through old conversations in Teams. Conversation History via email is necessary because it puts written communication in my hands to be retrieved whenever I want.

I agree - please add this feature back in. It was something I used daily to track down when a conversation occurred. the individual threads of email sorted by date really helped me stay organized. this feature is needed.

Chat history is very much needed! With Teams it's very difficult to find items in the history, you can do a search but it still won't pickup needed topics. I am missing Skype for Business!

I can't stress enough how bad chat is in Teams. Skype had it's issues, but at least you could easily find things in the Conversation History folder in Outlook.Copying even a couple screens from Teams is challenging. The worst part for me is that when I search Teams chat and the result is a conversation several months old the search return I get is a single entry, with no way to scroll to the messages that immediately proceed or follow it. PLEASE address this. Better yet, make the chats auto-save to Outlook Conversation History.

You need at least maintain or improve to better, on all features of skype. For a smooth transition from skype to teams. else it's a failed product. Many problems we have on teams.
we need the conversations store in the outlook's conversation history for back track.
we need it to be searchable from the pool of conversations.
Please improve it as soon as possible. -

I feel everyone, myself included, are so upset by this because it's so obvious that literally NO ONE thought it wouldn't be there when the transition to Teams happened. I work for a company in the Fortune Top 10 and we just made the move. I'm appalled that this isn't available. It's something that I've relied on FOR YEARS! It's common sense, it's a must have feature, and I am beyond amazed that Microsoft, of all companies, either was derelict and overlooked this, or just couldn't figure out how to make it work before rolling out Teams chat (also a dereliction IMO).
C'mon Microsoft... this is ridiculous

Saving conversation history should be an opt-in feature with the default be opted out.
People will quit using Teams if they know it is tracking them and applying machine learning to profile them for behavior which somehow the company thinks may harm the company.
Like MS Teams accessing the sensors on your phone to monitor what you are doing.
It's one big GPDR problem.

Similar to skype, pls backup all Microsoft team chat history also to the the outlook conversation history.

This feature need to be implemented as Teams is far behind Skype or Slack regarding this behavior. Please implement some kind of local caching / preload of conversations.
