Using an existing planner in Teams, comments are invisible
When adding a planner to a tab on a team channel in the Teams desktop app, any given planner task will not display the bottom section allowing you to make comments to a task. Neither will the task window show any existing comment history from tasks made from the web platform.
This is a huge problem to planning - that action history on a given task, is invisible.
Without this feature I am feeling helpless. I was sure that this feature is available as a general sense, I was trying to show my team how should it work, then I realized this is not available. Please add it. The same for the Microsoft outlook task and planner
We're working on integrating Planner as our main project management tool, and this feature is critical.
Its unbelievable that this isnt available! Please expedite the fix to show all planners created within channels to the planner hub.

They are also not showing in groups that were created as part of Yammer. Which makes it hard to keep a conversations going about what is happening with a task.

This is very important & useful feature to be implemented in Teams. If you create Planner in standalone mode, them Comments feature is available. Comments are very essential component of planner & we use it to track the progress. Without Comments feature, I am unable to promote Teams adoptions.
This is very important when attempting to use Teams as a collaborative solution (which is it's main purpose). When tasks are being worked on by the group (multiple assignments) these comments are needed. Also, if you open the planner up using the "go to website" icon from within teams, the comments are not available there either. This is only for plans created in team channels.

Definitely!! This makes planner pretty much unusable in the Teams app.
