Answering button blends in too much
Answering button blends in too much, the decline button is much more appealing to click when there is an incoming call. A green answer button would have been much better from a design perspective. Green answering buttons are consistent, familiar and rich in contrast.

Please, please, PLEASE change this so I no longer have to repeat "not the red button, not the red button" everytime I answer a call!

Untested choice of both color cues and position. Allow your customers to trust your app.
Occasionally, MS, you find a better way that becomes industry standard. This is not one of those times.

How many votes are required for MS to notice and address this?!

This is just such an obvious UX issue. At our company people are hanging up on Teams calls all the time because the button that stands out is the Red button to hangup. It's common design language to have Green for answer and Red for decline/hangup. Even cars with integrated CarPlay or Android Auto use that consistent UX design. Not sure why this hasn't been done yet. Simple and effective.

This should have been implemented initially. This should be automatically approved.

Yes please! I keep hitting the differently coloured one by mistake, which hangs up the call, as the others are the default Teams purple and look like less important functions unless you're really concentrating on the symbols. Changing the Answer Call button to green would be an extra visual clue and more recognisable at a glance.

Same. As a former web designer, that is terrible UI design. I have to consciously think "not the button that looks highlighted, self!" to not hang up on people.

Agreed - adding my name to the list of people who sometimes find the red button just too tempting :)

Make the answering button Green and BIG, the refuse button Red and small. I'm used to click the right corner of my screen with popups… so please, place the answeringbutton to the most right place :)

Adding my voice - the hang-up button should not be more prominent than the answer. Or at least let us switch the colours.

Yes +1 because the hang up button is red and draws my attention and I always hang up instead of accepting a call.

Also the size and placement of the hang-up button draws too much attention leading to accidentally hanging up a call.

Several members of our team very much do not like this about Teams. They have consistently hit the hang up button. I hope Microsoft either changes this, or gives us the option to change it.

I am drawn to click the brighter-colored decline button. Why? Is blue a better color for some reason? It's interesting that Android uses green, but Teams does not.
