Set reminders on conversations and replies within a conversation.
Problem: You create a conversation to do something (such as create a new icon) and the team member responds they will get to it later, but there is no way to go back to see what conversations require follow up.
Possible solution: set reminders on a conversation or a reply within a conversation for individual team members or the whole team with a certain date or time.

+1 this. Also, even though I don't have a use case right now, but any time someone says "integrate with Planner" I want to sneak in a "and devops"

It looks like there are a number of similar UserVoice feature requests regarding “reminders” applied to chat messages, conversations, or certain notifications.
Comparatively, this is a feature that many of our former Slack users are missing and would greatly benefit our teams to see introduce to MS Teams.
Below is a list of URLs to some of the similar feature requests I was able to find. Please consider consolidating these requests to more accurately gauge your user voice.
Thank you.

Started using Teams in the past few week (60+ and 150+ team members respectively) and just realised today that there is no way to set task reminders on posts/replies so that important items are monitored through to completion. Being able to set task reminders on individual posts and replies is vital.

I've always wanted a Send To ToDo button in Teams so I could achieve just this. Just to avoid having to copy the post link and manually create a ToDo item.

Why not add the ability to create a Planner Task from a conversation or reply; via More Options/More Actions.
Currently I notice you can create a Poll from a conversation - would be great if you could also Add Planner -

I set reminders on outlook conversations all the time, because I want to make sure the person I emailed follows up with me. I realized today that is one of the main reasons I have such a hard time keeping track of conversations in teams.
Where did that request get made, was it a conversation or a post? What did I say that I can search on.. That didn't work. Let me check 3-4 chat's and channels and see if i can find it. Ugh
If only I had sent an email and tagged it for follow up and created a reminder!

We need a native reminder function (something similar to the "@RememberThis" bot, but expanded) - Needs to have local timezone support, infinite reminders (not limited to 7 days in the future), recurring reminders, and ability to remind self, channel or team - @Remind Me in 3 hours, @Remind Channel at 7:00 am MDT, @Remind Team on Jan 31 at 9:00 am LocalTime

We desperately need the ability to set reminders/flag for later messages in conversations tabs - and the ability to do it as many times as we need in a conversation. Add to Tasks, Add to Planner, Flag for Later... any of the basic Outlook functions!

Integrate this idea with Planner?

This would be an awesome feature. I was going to suggest a 'for action' marker (like the High Importance marker) that could later be marked as complete. Adding a reminder/deadline feature would be even better.

This would be a critical feature.

Perhaps there should be a "flag for follow-up" option on a message?
Or perhaps...have an option on a message to create a planner task from it?
Tell me if you think those are dumb ideas Justin...I don't mind :)
