Add in E-mail and e-mail functionality
Teams could be a one stop shop application if it also integrated e-mail. Potentially under the file icon you could put an icon for e-mail and teams could work like an e-mail client. Again - I would use this exclusively - no longer have to have skype, outlook, one drive etc... all open when its all right here. Really would be amazing.

Adding a mail application as it has been done for the calendar would be a major step forward making teams the global platforme for communication at work!

1+ on adding emails to Teams. A large fraction of my communication with people outside the company is via email. Having both Teams and Outlook items on my navigation bar is un-necessary clutter.

I also think that this feature will bring teams another big step forward beiing the DIGITAL WORKPLACE where all your activities start.
Right now you are able to chat/phone call/ video meetings, you have your calender and your files and also access to your collaboration unit (teams).
Whats missing when you think of you workday - of course email!

I have seen several online videos suggesting Teams is the only software to keep open onScreen as the main tool. This is a cool idea, however, our clients contact us via email, so some info on what is coming in regarding email would help seal the vision.

Would like this to be similar to how the Calendar is already connected. Being able to chat/view calendar/check email all from the same tool would be great. As menitoned above, it would be awesome to have just one tool versus 3+ do do all of this.

Personally, I would like to see at least today's mail in Teams. Particularly on the Android App. That way I can handle all my work stuff necessary while away from office with one application

Adding an email connector will be great and useful!

Handle one mailbox for each channel
- Have notification for new mail received
- go to page/tab where there is just a webclient for email
- Have "comments" on that notification about if user has reply (or set handled)
- Filter for notifications not handled. -

The lack of this is making my team not want to use it.

I agree! Communication within the company via Teams, outside with email. A simple icon on left navigationpane...

Would love to see a Mail connector added. Or even a browser connector tab (presumably Edge or IE) would be nice.
