annotation of PDFs
The ability to annotate PDFs, or at least open in a PDF reader that will, without having to download the file, annotate, and upload.
An Absolute Must for School Admin !! I don't want to have to use Google forms - please don't make me !!!

Hi we need to edit & sign PDF documents in MS teams and mobile app.
We can currently edit and sign PDFs using the onedrive app which works great! can you do the same with MS teams? i know you only have 3000 votes but the feature will be a great hit with other users as it is one of the most common formats to work with!!!
That would be so helpful. Please make that available.
Why is this not already default?
We will not be using Teams to share any PDF files until this is implemented. You should be able to see comments in PDF files for reviews, changes, etc.
I am a teacher where in our school we are using ms teams. And trust me when I say it is a pain to download PDFs then mark then on screen by converting into JPEGs then and upload back and then return. And when you have to do it on a daily basis for 100 students it just eats up into your time. At times I wish I don't need to eat and sleep and every day would have 100 hours. Microsoft should look into it and do the needful. They are a giant and this shouldn't be hard to implement. It would solve so many problems.
We have a PDF form (with drop downs and signature blocks) that many people (approx. 40) need to sign for attendance purposes. We use teams, so having the ability to sign or mark for this purpose is much needed.
Come on Microsoft – this shouldn't be to hard to implement and would be a huge step for us all

Why not use the Adobe Acrobat app for Teams?
This allows to open PDF files directly into Teams. It's a free app.
And you can add (basic) annotations.

This is a major obstacle to getting our group to buy into Teams.

Definitely a ball and chain here .. as we encourage as much interaction as possible inside of MS Teams, this one chases them out .. doesn't really support the overall vision of the MS Teams app hopefully we can see this in production soon.

We are a construction company looking to implement Microsoft Teams but this is a hindrance when trying to discourage syncing libraries and use everything in Teams.
Working with PDFs in Teams is extremely annoying (and I am only trying to be polite here). We need this feature asap.
