Forwarding message feature!
Title speaks for itself :) That would be really cool.
Love you, MT!
This is still under review, no decision has been made. But I will keep following up with the feature team and providing them your feedback.

Hi, this is ridiculous that a Team chat does not save as an Outlook message automatically, as is possible in skype.
What is the use of Teams and integrability with o365 suite if such basic feature is not supported?? Team is absolutely featureless, as compared to Skype or Google Meet or Jio Meet!!

This should have been added two years ago!
We need this feature in teams with the possibility of adding to outlook calendar as well. This will help me manage tasks that come through chat as well as forward details to other team members.
cannot forward message and attachments!
This would be great with many folks working remotely.

We should have a feature to send the Teams Chat to our mailbox for future reference. It use to be there in MS Lync. This is pretty useful feature and helps retaining information.

it is very inconvenient that cannot forward and reply in desktop version of team,
please add this feature ASAP as we use that frequently under threat of COVID19 from China
Forward and reply. Also you should include a better way to handle images and media.
It's good that you can send a teams message to an email, but without the option to send all messages from last hour/today etc. it's usefullness is very limmited
Please! We need this ASAP! Thanks!
We really need this. All the time. It was in Skype, it should be here too. Please!
Yo guys, I can't believe you don't have this simple feature. It's literally ruining the a workflow.
I understand from Warren's message that MS has till not made a decision about this basic need.
Even other companies like Jabber/Cisco is providing this feature to send emails to your MS Outlook account.
What is the reason that after so many years MS hasn't decided to implement this feature yet?
It would be very helpful to have this feature on the Desktop app

That's a joke, that this feature is missing, it must be!
the fact this exists on the mobile client (in my case android), but not on desktop client is just bizarre.

Sometime it will be good to forward a conversation to a 3rd party, where they do not need to join a chat session, but should be aware of the conversation that occurred.
An example is system engineer's discussing system issues and determined that a architected would need to evaluate the environment. Would have been nice to just e-mail them chat so they can review on their own. No need to have them on a discussion that has already occurred.

What is there to "review" about this? You dropped the ball on this feature, fix it already.

Yes, it is available on mobile (iPhone) but not on the desktop client 🤷🏻♂️
Absence of forwarding a message in desktop version make no sense.
