Is there an ETA to this? Seems very limiting that text has to be manually copied and pasted, and images cannot even be copied.
I've seen reports that this has been added as a feature but still can't see it on my Outlook. Is it an Add-On? Is it now possible to upload and email and/or an email attachment to a Teams Channel without copying the email link first? Please advise.

Our Users take screenshots of messages and copy-past them to new Messages, because this feature is missing.

Skype chats were saved in Outlook in the Conversation History. That is very useful for compliance and accountability. We need the ability to save Teams chats in the same way.
Please add that feature back asap.

Like everyone else posting here, this should have been standard from the start given the 'powerful business tool' hyperbole.
As is, it's rather like a social media 'chat' room which suffers from limited usability & actually cutting off collaboration as one must still revert to Outlook for serious business matters.
Honestly, it's quite off putting.
For now (Nov/2019) it's working only to the mobile app, not to the desktop one.

This should be standard functionality....simply amazed it isn't! A MS offering that doesn't work with another MS app in the same suite???
also waiting for this feature. Would be a productivity increase of at least 400% for me.....
This seems like a basic feature for an app that is being touted as such a powerful business collaboration tool.
I could list many uses for this, but the one that brought me here today is the ability to email a conversation out of the teams app in order to send it to a helpdesk/service desk portal to create a helpdesk ticket. As incredibly useful as Teams is (and can be), it really seems like this should be close to a basic feature.
I am amazed this requires a prolonged "review" and that "no decision has been made". Any serious operation with multiple teams would be crippled without this.

Yeah what year are we in? Using Ctrl+Alt+Print to forward messages. Seriously?
Yep, forwarding is of much help for us
this is a requirement, not an option. Not everyone should be in a Team but, for example, I have subordinates that need to know some of the details being discussed. Locking down this ecosystem in this way impedes collaboration, not enhances it.
Wow, what a drag. Can't believe this is not offered. Really a basic need.
