Polly highly inadequate as polling solution
The Polly offering for Teams is in beta. They don't have simple things like multiple choice answers, recasting a vote, retracting your vote or even deleting a poll that was created.
Poor choice for a polling solution.
Once a polly is complete and has been closed, is there a way to hide it or archive it? It just clutters up the channel and would prefer to only show the relevant (ie. open or not yet closed) polls in the channel.
Is it possible to prepare a poll in advance for a meeting for example? this is crucial for us, as we want to give training with MS Teams and having to do everything live is not possible.
Moreover, guests should also be able to vote on polls during meetings!
what I really miss is to be able to see who didn't vote, I use polls to simplify confirmations in emails.
and if I cannot see if everyone answered then I miss this funcionallity

We need a better polling solution, available not only in channels but also during calls.
Ability to edit a poll once it has been posted.
I don't like how Polly will post my question as a teams comment directly below the poll - people don't know what to respond to - whether to click the buttons in the poll or just comment on my original post.
I can't seem to see who answered in a poll - is this only for people who created the poll?
A good example to follow would facebook's workplace polls. you can add answers, see who voted, give more than one answer

Polly seriously sucks, basic features its missing (in priority I see them):
1) Ability to add additional answers. e.g. Initial poll created as @Polly "what's for lunch?" "Chicken" "Fish" .But what happens if another users wanted to add/vote for something else like "Soup".
2) More than 5 possible answers.
3) Multivote answers.
I also hate how Polly creates a new post below the creation post. It leaves your poll creation post orphaned in the channel (especially annoying if the team has disabled deleting posts). I think you should either be able to create the poll another way other than posting in channel, or, Polly should replace your post with the poll.

Someone else in the comment section said that its not anonymous - it can be.
By default, all polls are not anonymous. To make a poll anonymous, simply add an [anon] tag after you mention Polly. For example: @polly [anon] “What should we order for lunch?” “pizza” “sushi”

I would agree that a better polling option would be a good idea.

Negative points of Polly:
It is not anonymous
It is limited to five options
would be nice to be able to preview a poll before it gets published. Syntax errors, like including a comma, result in invalid answer choices which cannot then be corrected once the poll is published.

The straight-forward polls like the ones in Yammer would even be an improvement.
