Allow organizer to end meetings
People should not have to manually leave meetings in order for them to end. We have had several people forget to manually leave meetings, and the channel continues to show that a meeting is in progress when in fact it has ended.
The organizer of channel meetings should be able to 'end' meetings altogether instead of simply leaving the meeting space.
As stated last week, based on the volume of recent feedback, we fast-tracked adding the ability for meeting organizers to end a meeting for all participants with the click of a button. This was released to the public ring today.
In addition, the team has begun working on an option requiring everyone other than the meeting organizer to go thru the lobby. Once that feature is available, attendees will be placed in the lobby when rejoining the meeting. Teams meeting organiser should be able to end the meeting for all. Now the meeting continues even after the organiser exit from the meeting

I want to end the meeting when I leave.
An option to hang up is needed to leave the meeting while others can continue is already there
and other option to END meeting and exit everyone in the meeting is required.
specially if they are students or guests, to be more controlled.
With more and more teachers using Teams, it is extremely important that the Teacher, as owner of the team, can force end a meeting.
I've left a meeting thinking it would end it as I was the one calling for it, but my students stayed and continued to chat without any supervision.
This is really annoying and should be resolved in urgent basis. All participants have left the meeting, but the meeting is still going and there's no way to stop it. Why this has not been fixed at this stage of development is deeply perplexing.. Having this issue on daily basis

Being unable to end a meeting formally by the organizer is really annoying, especially when you use the meeting feature to conduct an online lesson for secondary students.
This feature is really important for teachers using Teams for class meetings
Missing of this feature is really BIG mistake of developers. We should call it not a missing feature. It is rough grain bug:-(
Come on Microsoft... I think Bill would be ****** off if he finds out about this.
I cannot believe (well, actually it's Microsoft so I can) that there has to be a suggestion, comment, etc. to have a button that ends the meeting for all. REALLY!??
This is an essential feature. The organizer of a meeting should be able to forcefully end the meeting. This feature is vital for teachers, especially when the students are 9y olds, isolated at home and happy to see each other. Apart for everything else this leads to unnecessary load and useless network traffic.
We need this
In these corona times, we use teams in education. It is imperative that we can end the meetings!!

YES WHY THE **** NOT HAVING this feature already... jeez
I agree on that.
I agree on that
One can of course go into the Attendees pane - and remove folks manually from there, which will end the ongoing call.

Why has this not been resolved if the issue was raised in 2017??
Having huge issues while using Teams for distance learning!

Make it so that my students are unable to kick each other out of meetings.
