Change which Tab is default landing page for a Team and/or Channel
Right now the conversation tab is the default landing page for a Team and/or Channel.
I want to be able to have a SharePoint site landing page in a tab and that tab be the default tab open when you navigate to a team or channel.
Think of it like a landing page for that team. You may not want it to drop right into Conversations. If you can have a SharePoint page with a Microsoft Teams conversations web part, you get the best of both worlds.
I can see a lot of scenarios where you'd want the chat window open and another tab at the same time. Rather than having to context switch. Imagine the SharePoint page tab being the way to do that by using Web Parts on a dashboard. A web part for the Microsoft Team and another web part for whatever was in another tab.
This feature is still in the backlog.
This feature should absolutely be implemented.
This would be a great and very useful feature for certain channels.

If I can add another voice and sign the petition, "MAKE THE DEFAULT LANDING PAGE SELECTABLE"; it would make functionality so much more efficient.
Adding another vote & hoping that after 2 years some sort of progress will be made on this.
Isn't a workaround just to have a link on your browser's favourites bar to wherever you wish to start?
This is just idiotic that it defaults to a tab "posts" which is not used and unimportant. Allow the default tab to be selected.
Why it has taken so long is beyond me,
This tab is non-value add for users.

The Post/Conversation tab is NON-ESSENTIAL. Every activity that I perform requires me to click out of it. Is there a way to have it be reorganized or set a different Default?
Sometimes software companies should value Quality of Life changes just as high as bug fixes, as these can be considered usability bugs. Thanks!

This default tab is annoying and disrupts the flow of my daily Engineering tasks. Very inconvenient and completely unnecessary for what I doo on an hourly basis 5 days a week...
2 years, what a joke...
Adding my vote here, the pointer must be encoded in an odd way or this would already be done.
Can you please provide an update as to if this is possible?! The conversation is not the most important.
Another vote (but have to say it's pretty typical of Microsoft to ignore users - that is until another better product comes along and steals their space...)
Another bump for this option. Can't believe this isn't a priority.
Came looking, disappointed to find its still not implemented.
Please, listen to your community!!

This needs attention.

'Posts' and 'Files' are not the most important information for team channels. A new visitor (who we want to engage) is better served by key channel info (PowerBI metrics, design documents, etc.) which are on other tabs. Clicking on the channel should default to the first tab and we should be able to set what that is. Getting wide adoption of teams as a project tool is slowed by the impression by many in our organization that Teams is just Skype. Of course that not the case...it's a powerful team information aggregation tool. But that idea is unfortunately reinforced by showing a chat/post window by default.
Any update on this? It should be an easy fix.
