OneNote Default Page Templates Needs to be Supported
Currently, if you set a default template for a OneNote page the Teams OneNote tab does not access that template when making a new page.
Similar to Willy, we want to have the option to create templates in OneNote that our clients and other locations use to maintain consistency (Mac user).

I assumed this was a default functionality. Making only a few editing features accessible within Apps on teams is doubling the work. Why can't we have the full functionality of the MS Office within teams?

This is so fundamental functionality - I was surprised it doesn't work.

I love the feature that each new page in a section opens to a specific template. I don't have to copy or paste and erase prior content. This is a major time saver. If you want us to switch to the web app we need to be able to use templates. Don't sell on us on the latest and greatest when you are taking away practical functionality.

We need this also, microsoft, get a tech on this!
without one-note templates, to guide our domestic and foreign colleagues, they will "invent' their own styles and our notes will be a mess in no time!
Per the comments below, we leverage templates for basic collaboration use cases in other tools. This gap slows Teams adoption.

We use templates extensively. Please add support for using templates to create a new notebook.

This is a critical update. This will help with migration over to Teams.
