Delete bot messages
With the Polly bot, sometimes a member of one of my Teams will make an error while writing out a poll. Currently it is not possible to remove this poll, or, as far as I can tell, any message that is created by a bot.
It would be great to be able to delete messages created by bots.

The feature team is still digging into this item. No decision has been made yet.

Yes this needs to be done.

Add, Change, Delete capability is a core need with any tool. If you created the poll or message you should be able delete it. or the team moderator should have this ability.
Having extra noise in the mix causes confusion. I like Polls to go away once a decision has been made based on them.

Asap please
Otherwise opening Teams for younger students will be a bother. They'll try anything and anything is mostly something you want to delete :) -

Yes this is an ugly mess. At first Polly would not show up in the drop down to be selected. Finally found out how to do that part. Now I can not get it to actually poll on an Employee Engagement page... Sigh now everyone sees how to create a poll and I do not want anyone doing that. When will this be fixed....

How can I use this as a corporate tool if I can't delete a mistake or forgot to add an answer. Please implement the delete option!

yes, it is very frustrating that Bots messages cannot be deleted from Conversation even when the Bots has been deleted.

We have a polly in Teams that at random generates notifications to people that have not been linked/@ or anything else. It causes frustration so I suppose removing the Polly is the only option we have. Please implement the removal of Polly ASAP.

Consider defining a "test" mode function, and making input and/or output while running in test mode being saved/archived with the capability of future retrieval and or deletion via a testing admin function. This would give us the ability to reproduce issues, save the output, delete the output from the normal displayed flow, and create documentation and/or submit support requests if the issue is part of the release codebase. Issues of testing vs. operational owner permissions could then be left up to the local discretion.

@Jeroen: When is the timeframe to clean this up?

When testing, I made a poll and now it's ugly and takes up space. I need to get rid of it.

It is terrible that we can't delete the messages - especially if mistakes are made. It's very distracting from the real content. At least make the administrator have the ability.

Fully agree with others on this. I've had to delete and re-create 2 Teams because of this. As such, I'm sending Polly out the door.

This is a miss - can't even delete or adjust a poll? I'll be re-creating my TEAMS site.

+1 as it is not 100% clear how this works, trial and error generates quite some clutter - we should be able to clean this up...
