"Jump to Channel" Keyboard shortcut
Similar to CTRL+K kb shortcut for Slack. I use this often and I'm sure most do as well. It's much easier to just to a channel rather than click through them.
Ctrl + E, type a name; you still have to press down, then Enter
Ctrl + G only works for Teams, not individual chats
Ctrl + N seems to be the closest match. You still have to press enter multiple times.
Navigation between channels in Teams maybe is OK up to a hundred co-workers but it is miserable when there is around one thousand.
Slack's Ctrl+K is much more suitable for working in large organizations because:
1. Displays a queue of channels where you have unread messages
2. Allows to find channels fast by writing "#" + their name
3. Allows to find people fast by writting "@" + their name
Teams' Ctrl + E seems to return less noise now than it used to. But still it does not feel like a quick and easy way to find the channels i'm interested on.

Ctrl+G doesn't really equate to Ctrl+K in Slack. I agree, I was looking for this function today and nothing seems to exist. The convenience of selecting Ctrl+K and having all unread channels/chats in a list to choose from was so convenient to switch between things.

Cannot believe there still is not something like this in Teams. Jumping between unread Channels and Chats is such a hassle in Teams right now.
Incredible that this is not part of teams yet... How are you supposed to quickly flip through unread channels to catch up?
Strongly agree! This is a perfect example of Microsoft vs Other companies. Cmd + K is such a useful feature in Slack and Microsoft hasn't even thought about it.
Please get this added!!
Ctrl+E is for search and not strictly a "jump to" function even though it works. The best part of Ctrl+K from Slack is listing the unread channels/chats to quickly jump to. That is the main part that Teams needs. If they could somehow get the unread channels/chats listed automatically when you press ctrl+e that would be great.
Can this be marked as Solved?
Ctrl+E is the shortcut for jumping to people and channels.

this already exists, cmd + E for Macs
This is such an important one. having said that, CTRL + N let you start a new conversation. Which pulls across all previous conversations. it kind of works.

The ability for the "Jump To" default list to be automatically filtered by channels/chats with unread updates is also very important. I constantly use this to catch up during the day with what is happening.
We are from the Development Team in our organisation. We enjoy using the keyboard to move around in Slack. Moving into Teams, using mouse to switch between channels or click on anything does take up some time. Would really love to have this feature so we can quickly get whatever we need to do on Teams.

Please! This is such an minor but important feature.

This is an absolute must for me as a developer and keyboard shortcut addict.

this function is kind of there with the option+e search command, although you can't just hit enter afterwards, you have to hit the down arrow to go to the search results.
Yep, only this and a Teamcity integrations stops us from moving from slack to Teams

I agree. For someone who tends to use keyboard shortcuts, the Ctrl-K quick-jump feature of Slack is amazing.
In Slack, Ctrl-K autocompletes and matches against all your joined channels and active chat sessions. For example, to jump to a channel named "#support", I'll type the first few letters, like this:
Ctrl-K <s> <u> <ENTER>
I'm surprised this request doesn't have more votes as it's probably my most used functionality in Slack and one of the things that keeps me coming back to Slack over teams. Being able to easily jump between all chats/teams with a shortcut/search greatly improves efficiency and useability.
