Mass add users to a channel or team
Please add mass add users to a channel or team.
Like we use on other Office 365 services. email@domain;email@domain and (if possible) @everyone something like that.
I'm using and loving Microsoft Teams :-)

The situation when I want to organize semi-regular event, which occurs every week on a different day but with a different title and description and slightly different attendees is very uncomfortable... If I could copy and paste there a list of attendees, it would really speed up the process. In on-prem Outlook it is possible to do so, so it would be natural if Teams offered this option as well.
I know this comment is about the Teams meetings, but if the mass addition was enabled in channels or teams, it would be enabled in the meetings as well.

My company runs in over 50 different countries/sites, and while creating Teams sites for each country, users have to be added manually. also no way to keep the list up to date as distribution list are not updated with changes when members are added or removed.
We have distribution lists for departments. It would be easier to use just the distribution list email when for example scheduling a meeting or adding people to a new channel or team, than to add each person one by one

Adding users one-by-one takes more time than most people are willing to give. It's great that users can be added via a mail enabled security group because that saves time. However, anyone later added to the security group isn't added to the team. That means someone has to track which security groups were originally added to the team, be notified when there is a new addition to (or deletion from) the security group, and then manually update the team accordingly.
I'd like to have the ability to use mail enabled security groups with persistent membership AND have an option for mass adding users from an email or Excel file.
Perhaps you can merge these request into this one here.
Even it's about groups but I think the root of frustration is the same and should be solved in one row.
I'm still suprised, how bad this is implementet.
The "Adding Box" even did not have the focus on the input field -.-
Adding via Distribution Lists or Security Groups preferred but any import/upload features would be acceptable.
On boarding is quite awful when you have to add users one-by-one. :(
okay well it's 2020 and there still is no function, so are you really listening?!
it's quite disappointing to not be able to create/add in a batch.
Please provide option of adding to MS Teams list of users once at a time, otherwise it is huge pain for larger organizations/groups than micro size. Best if few different separators on the list would be supported: comma, space, semicolon and pulling in from .csv or .xlsx.

My organization would like to use teams to direct 2000 or more sales reps to our channel so they can access all our digital information in one spot. From there they can create there own channels to share success stories etc. Adding them as guest and one at a time eliminates this ability for us as no one has that kind of time. Honestly I was under the impression this would be easily done once we had everything set up. It seems very odd you wouldn't have this option as a basic feature. This is the reason we want to use teams. Please add mass add members so we can accomplish our goals. I do love the platform and aside from a few kinks it is great, however it is useless to us ift this is not an option.
Growing number of Teams sites are needed to collaborate with guests and the ability to add on mass would save time. Adding 300+ guests individually is not feasible and is a blocker to wider Teams adoption.
How is this not available out of the box? I can do this in Power BI, Outlook, PowerApps, etc. It doesn't make sense for Microsoft to try to push Teams as a replacement for Outlook communication but not have this feature available. Shame, shame, shame.

This feature will really be very useful... currently it becomes difficult to add all the members in the teams channel. Also one more suggestion would be to add a group call in one click...like if i have to have a join call with all the members of my team...it should be possible....

Please make copy/pasting a list of users from an Outlook email into the Teams "Add members" dialog work as a means to add mutliple users at one time. Lots of our users want to do this and it causes a lot of friction that it doesn't work. Thanks!

Mate, I'll tell you now, this is high-priority! We have Teams used as classrooms and can't expect Lecturers to add 100 students to a Team individually.
Is there now a way to add multiple emails (list from outlook example) for invitation when setting up meeting? for people outside my org?
In our company we create a new team per major project. All project staff must be able to be @mentioned inside team, incase we need input, therefore all project staff are added to each team created. Currently this is a huge pain as we have to manually add each staff member.
