Fulltextsearch for Wiki
It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search
A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...
This feature is now on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.

how can you have a wiki with no search?? Let's get it done!
Absolutely need search capability for Wiki within Teams. A Wiki without search becomes somewhat useless as soon as you add a moderate amount of content and forces you to re-think where you want to store the information.

Our team was fired up to start using MS Teams for numerous tasks, knowledge capture being primary. First thing we did was throw together some wiki content and then attempt to perform a search - which landed us here.
A wiki without search is truly useless. Please MS get this into your Sprints and out to the community.
I came to know your Team feature today and instantly fell in love with it. The Wiki feature in the Team is super cool and will benefit the team members to share their knowledge on a common platform. I would like you to add a new Search option under the Wiki page, so that it will be more easier to know if a similar page already exists or has been created by a team member.

I installed Teams in my company, but it's less usable because wiki doesn't have a search feature.
Please up grad this feature.
How can this be on the backlog????!!!!?????
how can a wiki exist if it cannot be searched?
Ms teams, planner, wiki and more all missing basic functionality, I cannot take any of MS software seriously anymore
I was really excited about Teams and started to transfer our projects into Teams.
The conversations, easy data storage and espacially the WIKI: just amazing (I thought at the beginning) until i transferd one whole project into Teams and started to work on that until I had to change something in one Wiki entry and i couldn't find it. It's just not usful like this.
Also the search in OneNote or Files doesn't work as I think it should. Teams doesn't get any results if the word isn't full written: Exch - no result ExchangeServer - Result
That search engine should be fixed immediately, otherwise Teams won't be useful

An almost perfect product made absolutely useless by not having a search option... I really hope this feature is coming soon! Its been over ½ a year now and still no Wiki search option???
I just don't believe this feature was not built in from the beginning...

Wow, unbelievable that search is not available in Wikis, rendering them useless for practical purposes... It's in scope of MVP, folks...

I'm finding that the wiki is searchable? However, that doesn't mean that current search isn't close to useless as the result of the search navigates to the .mhtml where the wiki is stored. This is a pretty awful experience. I have a lot of nasty comments running around in my head which I will leave out of this comment. Bottom line: search finds text, but the result is pretty darn bad.
a wiki without search is useless, just remove the wiki TAB if you cannot provide search
+1 Seriously. This makes Teams useless for a collaborational project.
+1 on Wiki Search - this is a big miss in Teams!
Please add this feature.
On the backlog??? Does Microsoft intend to support this function? Without that search the wiki is useless.

I wish it was in an active development sprint, but I appreciate the update on where it stands at this time, Warren. Looking forward to whatever you've prioritized higher.
