Fulltextsearch for Wiki
It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search
A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...
This feature is now on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.

Please add search-ability to the Wiki. This functionality would be very important to us. The Wiki feature without it does not add enough value. Thank you.

Wiki is seriously useless without a search function..

Not being able to search Teams built-in Wikis or OneNote notebooks disqualifies its use for storing and sharing knowledge. We've worked to build adoption for Teams and it has gained traction. All these obvious misses and continued lack of resolution are so disappointing and drive users to other tools.
I built a wiki for our help desk team to be able to get licensing information quickly. Then realized search was for Teams not the wiki which made the wiki useless. Since I live out of OneNote personally, I created a notebook knowing there was a search feature. I didn't occur to me that a main feature of OneNote would be missing in Teams. Once created you can only search the page or the section not the notebook. I've tried some work-arounds that I found in Google that were confusing once implemented and we are not going to purchase a third-party app.
Considering the search features that exist in SharePoint, why oh why is this so hard to accomplish in Teams and so far down the list?
This Teams "Wiki" really isn't a Wiki. I recommend users/admins remove the Wiki tab and add a "Website tab" that provides access to your legitimate Wiki. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/built-in-custom-tabs
Re: Not really a wiki... Its markup is limited, you can't readily link to from page-to-page, there is no search, its content is "siloed" within a hidden SharePoint library (import/export hampered). Can't recommend its use.
PLEASE add text search to wikis! I used them extensively until I realized that they could not be searched, and now use them in limited ways where search is not as important. But searchable wikis would be very valuable asset to Teams!
Is there any update on this issue, yet?

Why is there no answer to this?

Alex - We really need to know if this is a planned feature or is Microsoft going to drop it. If Microsoft has not developed a solution, it has historically meant that Microsoft will drop support because they are introducing a replacement product. We need to know if we should stop using Wiki and move to something else..OneNote...Yammer...etc. buy your new Learning Execution System....what?
Any update? This has been on the backlog since Feb. 2020...
We would like to use it for all employees to access knowledge - like a glossary. Please develop this asap.
Please make this happen, we really need this for a client.

Not being able to search Teams built in Wikis disqualifies its use case for storing and sharing knowledge. Fortunately we found Perfect Wiki!
This is a joke. A bad one at that.
Please implement this function. We really need it.

Please implement this essential feature!
3 years to enter in the backlog, 1+ in the backlog and not yet implemented: then do not complain for those memes where microsoft products are made fun of for their slowness!

Implement a search bar in MS Teams Wiki.
I implore you to see reason in this matter
Unbelievable that MS Teams Wiki doesn't offer a search tool...
