Fulltextsearch for Wiki
It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search
A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...
This feature is now on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.
Sorry to emphasis on this: But to publish the Wiki modul without any kind of search is just not ok!
If it is a small project wiki with a 3month lifespan - i don't care
but if it is a team know-how wiki with a multiple years scope - A possible to search and export data is mandatory.
Any update ?

Please add the ability to search the wiki. It really should have been there from day 1.
a Wiki with no search? What was its intended use??
I agree, replace Wiki with OneNote
Any update since Feb last year?
Guillermo Bas commented
Replace wiki with OneNote, wiki feature as currently implemented doesn't make any sense.
A search feature is a minimum requirement for a wiki

Or do MS want to force to buy a solution like this: https://perfectwikiforteams.com ?
Than say it and do not play around with empty phrases/words. Ty

A search feature is IMHO a must in a wiki. I like the Teams product but i really NEED this or we need to switch to a other solution for this. What is the state of it?

Hi Alex, hi Admins,
are there news about the backlog status of this very usefull feature?
On the "Microsoft 365-Roadmap" page I did not found any hint about the requirement title of this one.
Looking forward to answers.

Hey, the ones who urgently need a feature rich wiki for Ms Teams should try Perfect Wiki https://perfectwikiforteams.com/
Just adding my name to the pile: What is a wiki worth without search?
please add this basic function to use the wiki as a wiki. thanks
A wiki with no search function is not worth its name.
This is an essential functionality, that must not be requested by User Voice.
Sorry folks, but this has got to be changed asap.

lol, just... lol.
Because the comments keep coming, it seems worth repeating:
"This is likely a dead-end product. Remove the Wiki tab and add a "Website tab" that provides access to your legitimate Wiki. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/built-in-custom-tabs
Re: It is not really a wiki... Its markup is very limited, you can't readily link from page-to-page, there is no search, its content is "siloed" within a hidden SharePoint library (hampering import/export), and etc. etc. etc. Look elsewhere. This is not a Wiki.

A Wiki without Searchfunction is useless! Please add this soon.
Long overdue, please expedite.

It's been over a year since the "on the backlog" post. Does Microsoft have plans to add this feature within the next month, year, decade?
