Fulltextsearch for Wiki
It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search
A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...

This feature is now on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.

I was just in a meeting in which I proposed the use of Teams to solve some painful communication problems. We looked at the Wiki for important information that needs to persist--SharePoint, while a fantastic product, requires too much overhead for our current capabilities. I had trouble making the case to the emperor of our company who recognized the deficiency of not being able to search the Wiki. Help me Obi-wan!

Well, thats a big WALL in the road for me and my company, this tool is almost
half done without this BASIC feature.I cannot adopt teams as a tool for my company ATM.

This is a must have feature.
A non-searchable wiki is not realistically usable.
MS Teams needs a functional & reliable system to facilitate collaborative knowledge-bases. -

MICROSOFT SERIOUSLY?? Can you please speak to the intended purpose of a wiki in the Team if it isn't able to be searched and used readily? Why have it if it cannot be used correctly and efficiently? Please explain.

Yes. As of now the wiki is treated as a file. If I search with Find in files, it will locate the wiki file, but clicking on the result simply downloads the wiki as a mht file. Not useful at all.

Or, you could have said 'Please could you make sure that wiki pages are included in search'. You've never made a mistake at work or left something out, or put it on your list to do and not got around to it?
Without feedback, there's no way they would know this is important (compared to things they get lots of votes for). Now they do.
Hopefully they'll do it. I'll vote for it. But if I was asked to do something this way, it would go to the bottom of the pile.

How is it you can release a commercial product that has wiki functionality and yet your search does not cover wiki pages properly.
Utterly stupid or magnificently arrogant.
Pick one.

Wiki and Onenote Notebooks are currently not searchable from within the Teams search bar.

i think the search is very important, but I think categories and a kind of table of contents would also be important.

I am sad. I really want to buy into Wiki 100%, and search is essential to make this work in the long term. Hope it can be prioritized soon!

This is very limiting. The search feature for Wiki and Planner are needed. The supported file types are insufficient for project/meeting artifacts on teams (doc, ppt, xls).

Completely in agreement here. Wiki without search is simply not useful, especially at present with the page titles hidden behind a menu item.

Wiki is the killer app in chat products - get this right to make chat the "engine" of the organisation's knowledge management.

This is super important for us to do get anything meaningful from Wiki feature of Teams. Without search it is almost unusable.
