Fulltextsearch for Wiki
It seems like the wiki content is not searchable with the global search
A wiki you cannot search for entries is useless...

This feature is now on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.

The full text search is a really important feature, and for almost three years Microsoft is ignoring the users voice.
If you urgently need a wiki with full text search and a bunch of other cool features (for example, export to PDF) I can suggest to try Perfect Wiki. It's the only one wiki fully integrated with Microsoft Teams.

Without search within Wiki, wiki documentation is not useful at all in helping collaboration. This is a needed feature for adoption of Wiki on teams.

I have to agree that this feature is severely hampering the adoption of MS Teams as a collaboration tool. The entire purpose of a wiki is to be able to organize and share important information with your team in an efficient manner. Without the ability to search the tool for information in the wiki, it does make it useless. This is a huge oversight and needs to be prioritized above adding backgrounds and additional "feel good" features, etc. This seems to be an essential piece of the application that is missing. Can we get an update? What is the eta? 3 mos, 6 mos, year?

Please get on with this. It is significantly hampering our adoption of Teams.

It is absurd that this feature doesn't exist!!! Amateur Hour?

A pity, because it renders a really useful product useless.

Any progress on this issue? A non-searchable wiki?

Agreed. Wikis are of VERY limited value if not searchable.

I fully understand development backlogs. With this said, this feature is fundamental to a fully integrated, collaborative user experience and knowledge share.

Everyday i found new missing basic features which let me struggle my with decision to roll out teams. A wiki with a search - What a feature would that be. Seeing it is since 2017 and currently on backlog does destory any hope for it.

I am making decisions right now on where to go with my team's Wiki. Lack of search has me searching elsewhere (pun intended).

Yet another proof that Teams is still not ready for full deployment.

How many votes does it take to get a basic feature like that in?
Accumulating data in a tool that does not support basic search defeat the purpose... We need contextual search and a search that can search any piece of word or whole words in a case sensitive or insensitive manner.

If Teams wiki is updated to be searchable - will the sharepoint wikis also be searchable

Hey Microsoft, this is the worst PR as you can get.
Really communicate with your customers and users.
This request has been published in 2017. Customers still don't know what they could expect... -

Any progress here? If this is not implemented I might need to move my ever growing Wiki to another, better platform

This is a serious flaw in the product - search needs to be implemented for it to be of any practical use.

Having no search functionality for wiki?? It is really a deterrent to using Wiki in Teams.
Is there any other preferred way to share knowledge for an organization on Office365? -

I was about to setup a fairly extensive wiki in Teams, but I won't now that I know the search is so poor. Generating a result as an mht file is very poor functionality.

How is it possible to implement a wiki without a search capabiltiy? Not being able to search a wiki is a pretty huge oversight IMO.
