How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

whitelist specific bots

We would like the ability to whitelist specific bots at an organisation level, so that users can only add/use approved bots.

At the moment if bots are enabled there are no restrictions on which bots users can use. We've had to disable bots at this stage due to this missing functionality which is available in products like Facebook for Work

Why not just make it so that only certain people can add bots, and those who are adding the facebook bot to their team get that access removed? I feel like if you're having an issue with people adding facebook apps to their teams, it's a user issue, and blocking them from doing so just makes them use even more time trying to unblock it (and if they do try to unblock it, you might consider it grounds for termination).

You can already define which roles can add a bot/app, just remove that permission if someone is abusing it.

More granular controls please. Whitelist of approved Bots for all, Bots limited to specific Teams otherwise not allowed.

We'd like to become Teams our main customer communication channel. Integration of approved bots would enable our organization to trigger workflows in our toolchain. Please make it happen.

Yes!! Implementation of business productivity workflows do need a more granular BOT handling on top of a whitelist.

    We also need this feature!
Currently all bots are disabled and we really like some of them!
