Let us collapse/expand our teams list
One user asks for:
I'm member of several teams in Teams and when I switch between channels in different teams, other teams seemingly at random collapse the channel lists. This impedes my workflow when I participate in discussions in several channels in different teams at the same time.
Another user says:
Please give me an option to collapse or expand all Favorites

Essential feature when you are part of several teams. This will improve navigation and will make it clutter free.
Collapse all is needed

Agreed. Collapse All/Expand all for the various teams in the MS Teams is an important feature that is currently missing (if it exists, it is not easily discoverable)
Larry O'Glasser commented
Yes! Please add BOTH a "Collapse all Teams" command, and an "Auto-Collapse when different Team is expanded" setting.

This is definitely a needed feature.

This is hindering my productivity. Please allow me to collapse and in general, provide better self-management of my collection of teams and channels..

As a heavy user of teams, it makes no sense that it's not possible to collapse all your teams/channels to be able to see all Teams you are a member of and expand if you choose or need to see a channel.

Agree with Anthony Crain and others... NEED the option and keyboard shortcut to Expand All teams and Collapse All teams...
Just like in sorted view in Outlook, the Control - and Control + on the numberpad collapses and expands all grouped emails instantly.
I work with a ton of teams now, and it is very hard to sort through them all quickly, and a distraction to go through one by one clicking each to collapse so I can see things in a more compact view.

Teams should remember if a group is collapsed or not. Additionally 1 button for expanding or collapsing all groups would be VERY useful.
Collapse all Teams/Channels with one click
It is quite tedious to move a team from the bottom of the list to the top, and there is no 'pin' option in the teams list. If all teams could be collapsed at once, it would be much easier to drag and drop them into order.

Collapse all Teams / Expand all Teams is a pretty basic need. I keep having to collapse them manually, one at a time. Inefficient.
Completely Agree . . . Suggestion Image attached.

If it was built correctly from the ground up this wouldn't even have an opportunity to be an issue. Microsoft. We need to talk. Please fire your entire software architecture team and hire one that does things right. It's blatant at this point, and it's a problem.
On what planet does it make sense: if I expand one item, another one (seemingly at random choice) gets collapsed?? Sorry, I don't recall collapsing that team. Every Microsoft product has this same behavior of incorrectly anticipating what the user wants, and then the user has to backtrack and correct the mistake. It's clearly a systemic problem at the design/architecture/philosophy level.
How bout this: just do nothing. Yes. Do nothing until the user tells you to. Do what is necessary under the hood to keep things running, but don't throw my car in reverse because I adjusted the mirror. It's ridiculous. It's embarrassing.

Flat design strikes again.
This would be a feature I'd use regularly, and be of significant value.

Yes! I think having a link to expand/collapse all 'Favorites' and expand/collapse all 'More' teams would be a great way to implement this. It can sit on the same row as the 'Favorites' and 'Moore' Headings.

Goodness yes! Need this so much! And could we get consistent behavior when we click on a team name? If the team has only one channel, clicking its name will by default display the channel. If it has 2 or more channels, clicking the name only expands/collapses the list of channels. But any time I click away from a team with only one channel, that team collapses. The inconsistent behavior requires a learning curve just to use the product, because sometimes I have to click the team name and then select the channel while other times I just have to click the team name.
