This is a standard convention for UI nowadays - it is absolutely absurd that pinch zoom scales the interface and not the document.

Same issue on the Mac, PDF viewing is terrible as you cannot zoom or pan to see the document clearly.

a needed feature. i'm using a Microsoft Surface Pro and was shocked that Teams didn't have this capability.
