Unnecessary "You're missing all the action" e-mails
Since today, we (me and colleagues) receive several e-mails per day telling us "You're missing all the action" whilst we've already read all the messages that were addressed to us. The e-mail looks like we missed some messages and in that case, it would be very useful. Now that we already read all our messages, it feels as very annoying that we still get those. I guess the "read all" is not synced correctly per user...
Thank you for the feedback, have you tried changing your Notifications under settings (you can find this by clicking on your picture in the lower left part of your screen). You can customize the type of notifications you receive from Teams.

I have seen this as the answer. What are you saying, turn off ALL notifications? That is ridiculous. Take it a step further and tell us what to turn off to stop this useless notification.
Today, I received the same message "You're missing all the action". I had, actually, already read the threads referenced so not sure what algorithm is used to send email. What triggers this email going out?

Hi. Thanks for the response. I didn't change any of my settings but all of a sudden, 2 days after I posted my message to UserVoice, the flood of e-mails stopped so I thought the issue had been resolved. In the 'notification settings', there is a option to select next to 'chat messages' and it says 'e-mail' for me but shouldn't the mail be sent only in case there are some unread messages? It seems to me that getting mails about 'read messages' is a waste of time.
But not getting them anymore so I guess this can be closed?
