Full Unicode Emoji 4.0 support
Please implement full support of: http://unicode.org/emoji/charts/full-emoji-list.html

This is still under review by the feature team.

I came here to say that the system's native emoji picker should be supported - for example on macOS you can open it this in any textfield with with "⌘ ^ Space" - but this doesn't work in Teams.
You can paste emoji into teams if you enter them in another app and copy them out - so it's not like the unicode support isn't there...
Now that I've discovered the EmojiOne support (thanks, Nathan Smith!), I'm a little happier. I actually use this as my system emoji font anyway.

Yeah, it's odd that Teams supports EmojiOne, but there's no easy way to discover that or access it unless you accidentally type a colon and some letter. It needs to be discoverable at least.

Agreed, this is super frustrating that I can't use basic emoji in Teams that I've been using with Apple and Google, and in Slack, for years! This was an irritation with Skype - I can't believe this hasn't been addressed in Teams yet.

Also make the full emoji list available in the dropdown menu...I don't understand why only a handful of them are visible in the menu while there are many more showing up when using the :emojiname: function

Why don't you at least implement all of the emojione emoji? Some of them are not available. Why is there grandma but not grandpa? Who made that decision???

Wake up Microsoft! This is one reason Slack got so popular!

I get a minimum of one inquiry a day from users asking for more/better emoji's. this seems like a no brainer for Microsoft to figure out and make available.

Where is there no laughing or smiling emoji in the EmojiOne list? All emoji should be easily searched using the : and then typing the first letter of the emoji name.
I'm OK to use the OS on-screen keyboard to select emoji on my Windows 10 machine but there's no keyboard shortcut to pop that up so I have to move my hand to the mouse and start clicking which makes it a pain. -

1) Remove the skype Emojis
2) Add an actual menu for the EmojiOne Emojis
3) Drop EmojiOne and support the standard yourselvesI cannot find the Emojis I need for business and development purposes.
Typing :S looking for :smirk: autocompletes to the skype :S face, and I can't smirk like I need to. -

This is still important, but now lets aim for Emoji 5.0 : https://emojipedia.org/emoji-5.0/

i'd also vote for dropping the skype versions in addition to full unicode support

Also, drop the Skype style emoticons.. Because it's 2017!! And because we want real Unicode emojis !

Sometimes the list includes only classic emoji, sometimes it includes memes and 'office drama' cartoons etc.
It seems very unstable: sometimes I have a reduced list, sometimnes the complete list.
