This works for me: Edit TEAM, click the "picture" to left of TEAM NAME and select the pencil to edit.

More than 1 year later... feature still planned, when will be completed?
Only 2750 VOTES is PLANNED...
And this important task REPLY on Desktop App
30589 VOTES is in BACKLOG?
PLEASE UPDATE!!!!! this would help moving away from other platforms and people would use TEAMS more if picture could be changed in chat groups.
Are we waiting for it to reach 3000 votes?
Is that when you are planning to have your next update?
Also trying to get a timeframe from this. Thanks.
If you'd like to give us literally any information at all about the timeframe that would be appreciated. You said you'd update us but you really aren't.

Lovely, you are all fired!
We want actions in this company, not just "planned" promises!
Just now I am sitting in a presentation (in Sweden) where a Microsoft representative names that it is possible to set a background picture. So I assume that it is very close to being officially released, if it is not yet released.
Do you happen to have any release date for this?
Hi Alex, please advise timeframe of this plan, as it has been a year and a half since it was officially in the plans.
Promotion-driven development practice is in its glory.
I bet you are very, very, very busy and this is a nice to have not a need to have. But sometimes the nice to haves make life worth living in the first place!
Any update? This was first flagged in 2017 and planned since 2019

"Planned" - Means planned not to work on for the foreseeable future.
Classic Microsoft, take a good product and just ruin it completely!
In the plans, but that was over a year ago... what are you planning?
