Allow for randomized giphy selection using a shortcut.
We're supposed to be working... so selecting the perfect Giphy is a bit of a distraction. Allowing for a randomized Giphy selection (based on keyword) by using a shortcut is something your competition offers, and is missed dearly by our team. Part of the fun was/is being surprised by what pops up.
Breaks my heart we're moving from slack to teams. I never realized how important the random giphy shuffle was to my workday.

Found a slight workaround using AutoHotkey:
While Giphy is a requirement, it is not truely Giphy without the ability to send a randomized Giphy selection the integration is somewhat pointless...we need it!
I agree with everything that has been said so far. Really no response yet? You are better than this Microsoft
WE ARE EMPLOYEES AND BUSINESS RESOURCES. WE MUST BE PRODUCTIVE. FUN IS NOT A PART OF THE MICROSOFT PLATFORM <#EndRobotVoice>
Our company made a giphy bot because otherwise there'd be a riot during the switch from slack.
The bot isn't as good as Slack but at least we have random giphy...
This is a comment from almost 2 years ago. Why has Microsoft Teams Staff not addressed this? This seems like common sense.
What is so hard?
It's always 100 clicks always. In Microsoft terms.. Just add freaking CTRL + ALT+ G [WORDS] for a shortcut to send a giphy.. or /G [WORDS]. why it has to be hard.. I hate clicks..

Teams is by far the best messaging app for companies using O365. But we can't use it. Because all of my employees will quit if we switch to teams and they can't use the /giphy command. It brings them so much joy.
This is the most important feature. I can't imagine how that hasn't been implemented in first release.
Slack is much simpler because of it's awesome keyboard shortcut and message commands. More commands and integrations please.

Yes, randomness is very important!
Currently we use HipChat and it has a giphy integration, where you just send "giphy keyword" to a chat and it will post a random matching gif. I would love to see that in Teams.

This is a comment that has just been made on our teams.
"but giphy really is less fun on teams.."
Due to there being no way to post a random giphy.
In Microsoft Teams for desktop, the Emoji, Giphy, Sticker, and Meet Now buttons cannot be found in the tab order when using a keyboard and screen reader. The tab order jumps from the Attachment button to the send button
